"A Heartbeat Away!"

I swear 'fore Jeezus if I hear another idiot comparing Palin to Obama I am going to literally loose it. Number one: She is the rethuglican nominee for VICE president not President. Number two: Her BS (the initials say it all) from Idaho University cannot touch Barack's Jurist Doctorate from HARVARD! That right there should have shut down this conversation but no the bubble heads gotta keep the meme going, facts be damned! Here is my favorite of all the asinine ways they are trying to pump up her lack of foreign policy experience..."She understands
Alaska is right next to Russia. She understands that." You cannot make this otherworldly delusional bullshit up! She is also real close to the North Pole I wonder what kind of Treaty's and Agreements she has made with Santa?! I heard the North pole is as swanky as the Vatican, but those are just rumors! The 27 million she did get from the feds for the bridge and airport to nowhere were secretly being funneled to Santa in a toys for oil scheme set up by the elves that are really advising the McSimpson camp!

Here is another example of how stupid the GOP supporters are. After getting smacked down on the whole "close to Russia = foreign policy experience" "idiocracy" they go on to insist that she has more experience than Obama because she was mayor, governor and my favorite she commanded the State National Guard. More like she commanded the local Separatist group. Look it up!

Well if you follow that logic she has more experience than Obama Biden and McStained combined. However, let's be honest about it, one day in "Mayberry" is like 30 seconds in the real world. They claim her 1.5 years as governor of Alaska has given her all of this executive experience, but there are neighborhoods in Chicago and places like Baltimore that have twice as many people in them as Alaska's most populated cities. There total population is 670k. In Baltimore city we have about 700k. They claim the state is the largest and it is in terms of geographical size, but it still falls to 47th in population. They only kick out about 44 million GNP and regardless of the lies she told about not taking federal money and being a reformer, Alaska requested over 750 million dollars in special federal aid for silly projects like a sports arena...There are no major sports teams in Alaska! I guess she was following the "Field of Dreams" method of getting teams there..."Build it and they will come"!

She is just like our current president though, when she was mayor of that small town of Wasilla...Check out their City Hall...

Looks more like a "Check Cashing" joint! Anywho, as mayor of that town she came in with a zero balance and when she left to become Governor the town was 27 million dollars in debt! Sound familiar, well except that the shrub has us Trillions in debt!

Still the rightwingnuts persist and continue to ignore the facts, that Grampa McSimpson has thrown the security of this country out of the window to win an election. OR he has finally gotten the long sought revenge he wanted to get against the same rethuglican party that shunned and humiliated him in 2000!? Think about it...Other than abject stupidity, which it also might be the case in him picking Palin, what other real reason would he pick her?!?

Now as a final nail in the coffin and time to close the Obama has no experience meme or that she has more let's look at what the Jr Senator from "Illa-noise" has accomplished in a mere 143 days?! REALLY?!?

Much has been made of Obama’s lack of accomplishments, that he hasn’t done anything, that he’s an empty suit, and all the other inexperience meme’s you can think of.

I wonder, do you find the following empty (details after the fold)? And thank you Helenann at DailyKos for your efforts! I quote her in full below (Note that I changed the formatting and order of some of the data for ease in reading. Nothing else was changed.) :

********************************

It has really been bothering me - the charges that Obama is all talk and no action. Those of us who support him and have reviewed his record know there is no basis to this charge, but just to make sure, I went to the Congressional Record (www.thomas.gov) and did a search for bills sponsored or co-sponsored by Senator Obama in his three short years in the US Senate. I searched the 109th and 110th Congresses which cover the years 2005-2007.

In a nut shell I found:

Senator Obama has sponsored or co-sponsored 570 bills in the 109th and 110th Congress.

Senator Obama has sponsored or co-sponsored 15 bills that have become LAW since he joined the Senate in 2005.

Senator Obama has also introduced amendments to 50 bills, of which 16 were adopted by the Senate.

His record is in fact quite impressive for a junior Senator from Illinois.

Most of his legislative effort has been in the areas of:

* Energy Efficiency and Climate Change (25 bills)
* Health care (21 bills) and public health (20 bills)
* Consumer protection/labor (14 bills)
* The needs of Veterans and the Armed Forces (13 bills)
* Congressional Ethics and Accountability (12 bills)
* Foreign Policy (10 bills)
* Voting and Elections (9 bills)
* Education (7 bills)
* Hurricane Katrina Relief (6)
* The Environment (5 bills)
* Homeland Security (4 bills)
* Discrimination (4 bills)

And the full details including bill numbers? Keep reading. I promise you will be impressed!

The following information was put together by Helenann. I am not using blockquotes to save space.

Now any more comparisons to Barack and Palin need to be shut down immediately because there are no comparisons. Now comparing her to Biden is only applicable in state size and even Delaware has more people than Alaska...If the delusion of the GOP and the Stupidity of the American public wasn't so scary this whole campaign season would be funny as hell! Pure comedy! At least she took the heat off of young black mothers...What the hell kind of name is Trig or Track?
