I haven't been able to watch all of the DNC this week cause of that pesky work thing but what I have been able to see has been boring me to tears. Michelle's speech was okay and the Obama kids are adorable and Hillary's speech tonight was good. I expected her to spur on her supporters more, especially the bitter spiteful ones that want to vote for McLame, because their candidate ran a shitty primary campaign and got stomped. I call them the blind spite and hate voters. I really wish they would go away, because in their stupidity they just might get what they wanted and that is four more years of the BCS through Grampa McSimpson! "Oh you cut off your nose to spite your face"...Hilarious!
However, I heard there finally was an impassioned speech at the DNC given by none other than the man who should be President Dennis Kucinich...

Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich spoke at the Democratic National Convention today and there is little doubt his was the most enthusiastic and hard hitting speech thus far. Dennis always comes armed with truth and facts, and today was no exception.
From illegal wiretapping, Iraq and high gas prices to playing the fear card, he blazed through the laundry list of Bush hackery and crimes and pounded the message home — Americans to wake up and vote for Barack Obama.
“…Wake up America! The insurance companies took over health care. Wake up America! The pharmaceutical companies took over drug pricing. Wake up America! The speculators took over Wall Street. Wake up America, they want your Social Security. Wake up America, multi-national corporations took over our trade policies, factories are closing, good paying jobs are being lost, wake up America!”
Now that’s the spirit! We need to hear more of this during the convention. The American electorate needs a good dose of reality. If this speech doesn’t get you fired up, nothing will.
Too bad Dennis so short! I wish his impeachment bill would get more traction. I saw $Bill at the DNC tonight, I'm surprised $Bill didn't drop some lines. Is he going to speak at the DNC at all? I do like to hear him dig in the rethug's asses though!
**UPDATE: I found the full speech at youtube and the part that was left out was the best!

Bruh, I caught his speech on DemocracyNow; of course you know the mainstream media wasn't gomma carry that speech.
But his speech was sooo appropriate. If people didn't heed the call to wake up, they're foolish.
I dug him as a hopeful when he was campaigning, and he had some bright moments in the debates too. There was no empty rhetoric or pandering when he spoke. He just let folks have it.
