By: Logan Murphy @ 9:00 AM - PDTDuring a speech in Jerusalem, President Bush jumped head first into the 2008 presidential campaign by taking a shot at Democratic presidential nominee, Barack Obama, by comparing his willingness to hold diplomatic talks with Iran to the appeasement of Nazis in the 1930’s.

President Bush’s foreign policy has been nothing short of a disaster and even MSNBC’s Pat Buchanan can’t help but call this what it is - an unprecedented smear of an American presidential candidate from outside the country. Buchanan and Harold Ford Jr. both agree that Bush has really stepped in it with these comments and the big question now, as it relates the presidential campaign, is how Senator John McCain reacts. McCain has already used the Hamas smear repeatedly against Senator Obama, but will he embrace these farcical statements of President Bush? Senator Obama immediately responds to the attacks:
“It is sad that President Bush would use a speech to the Knesset on the 60th anniversary of Israel’s independence to launch a false political attack. It is time to turn the page on eight years of policies that have strengthened Iran and failed to secure America or our ally, Israel. Instead of tough talk and no action, we need to do what Kennedy, Nixon and Reagan did and use all the elements of American power, including tough, principled and direct diplomacy to pressure countries like Iran and Syria.”
According to Will Bunch, Bush just committed an act of political treason: MORE!
This guy is a genuine piece of work! He should know all about Nazis too because that is how his grampa Prescott made his money by working with the Nazi's and helping them finance their war machine. Not too mention Prescott was involved in a little failed coup to over throw the government. Yup this government! Google his ass!
However, let's call this what it is and that is the shrub fear mongering and drum beating for more war this time with Iran! here is our dear decider doing what he does best and that is trying to scare the sheeple...From CNN:
JERUSALEM (CNN) -- The war of words between United States and Tehran continued Wednesday, with President Bush repeating his assertion that Iran is "a threat to world peace."
President Bush and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert at the airport in Tel Aviv on Wednesday.
The two countries have been trading accusations since a weekend confrontation involving Iranian boats and U.S. Navy warships in the Strait of Hormuz. The United States claims Iranian vessels deliberately sped toward its warships despite warnings to stay away.
Bush's criticism of Iran came Wednesday during a news conference with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in Jerusalem. Bush is in the region to encourage the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians.
Bush called the incident "a very dangerous gesture" by Iran and warned the Islamic republic against any escalation.
"We have made it very clear, and they know our position, and that is: There will be serious consequences if they attack our ships, pure and simple."
"My advice to them is: Don't do it." MORE!
Even McSame has been talking that crap about bombing Iran. Remember the little song he made using the Beach Boys Barbara Ann...McCain source does:
McCain And Top Foreign Policy Aides Lay The Groundwork For War With Iran
Progressive Media USA
“McCain’s foreign-policy advisers are a mix of traditional Republican ‘realists’ who favor a pragmatic approach to the world, and ‘neoconservatives,’ who lobbied for the Iraq invasion, advocate tougher action to squelch Iran’s and North Korea’s nuclear weapons ambitions and favor using U.S. power to transform the Muslim world.”

John McCain: “Bomb, Bomb, Bomb Iran”
McCain: “Bomb, Bomb, Bomb Iran.” In April 2007, McCain, speaking to voters in South Carolina, responded to a question about Iran by singing “Bomb, bomb Iran” to the tune of the Beach Boys’ “Barbara Ann.” A man had asked McCain about sending “an air mail message to Tehran.” McCain answered by singing, “Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran.” He then added: “Iran is dedicated to the destruction of Israel. That alone should concern us, but now they are trying for nuclear capabilities. I totally support [President George W. Bush] when he says we will not allow Iran to destroy Israel.” [UPI, 4/19/07] LOT'S MORE!
A vote for McCain is definitely a vote for more of the same! it is a shame that Conyer' s will only bring out the Impeachment tool after the Shrub decides to bomb another sovereign nation without provocation!
