No where in that definition does sex equate to love...Sex is not love! It has NOTHING to do with love...Will never have anything to do with love, no matter how much we try to rationalize it...So you making love huh?! It is a physiological activity not unlike any other physiological activity...For example, when you work with your hands, like a construction worker for instance, as you do you job you heart rate increases, you may sweat (especially if your out of shape like me), your muscles ache and get sore your hands develop callouses and after a long hard day you are relieved when it is over...There is a mental condition that exists while in the act of doing anything physical...Continuing with the example of the construction worker...You start thinking about how your project is going to look when it's finished and your thinking how talented and creative you are and you cannot wait until it is complete for the ultimate prize which is someone to stroke your ego and tell you what you already know in your heart...Sex is no different...We go through all of those things, the physical autonomic body responses to the physical act and we are thinking about a myriad of different things with the ultimate goal of hearing that it was good...Just like with the work example, if we put all of our time into it we become unbalanced in other areas of our lives...Same with sex or any other physiological act...The difference between the physiological act and the regular physical act is the thought process...It takes no thought to breath or for your heart to beat...Just like with the lesser evolved animals, they are instinctual, meaning they have certain instincts hard coded into their DNA, we being no more than higher evolved animals have those same instincts hard coded into our DNA..The difference is they do not repress who they really are! An animal feels no shame about the packaging he came in, or about his true nature...A bear will attack you, not because he doesn't like your haircut or new shoes but because it's his nature to protect what it perceives is it's space against anyone violating it...There is no shame in two dogs copulating in the street, they are only acting on their nature...It is the human animal with his evolved mental abilities that add the emotions like shame and guilt into the equation...A shame and guilt brought on by trying to repress our true nature...

Not discounting the fact that we are highly emotional beings and that is what truly sets us apart from the animals, but does it?! Can we actually say a female cat loves her son or daughter any less than a human mother? We have examples of how a mother cat would risk her life to go into a burning building not once but 7 times to retrieve her babies...Is that purely instinctual, or some kind of learned response? What motivates a fire fighter to run into burning buildings? Is it the extra security of the uniform? The thrill of fighting a fire? We all know that fire is one of the most destructive forces in nature, but we have men that will risk their lives to fight the fires...It can't be the money, because most fire depts are volunteer...For us human animals it is the feeling after a job well done or after you have saved someones life and the praise but what is it when a mother leopard sacrifices herself for her babies?! We are the only animal that puts conditions on love...

We have established the fact that Love Is...Unconditional, has no attachments to a physical act, is the ultimate expression of freedom...We have also established the fact that sex is just another physical activity, unlike any other...So why do we attach so much extra emotions and feelings around the act of sex? It is a trained, programmed response as much as a internal instinct...In the hood, a young black kid feels as though the only thing they can give is their sex and they think it is love...To them it is! They rarely see any true love where they come from...We as a whole very rarely see any true depictions of love...Yet a big part of the human psyche needs love, to feel it and to give it, yet we have no understanding of what it truly means...I am not talking about what we want it to be but what it truly is...We are well versed as to needs and wants...Like I stated above there is a need and a want to be loved...A need can be defined loosely as something you have to have, it is required for survival, for example food...You can go without food and water but you will die if you go to long without them...A want is something you want to have like a car or new shoes, it is not necessary for survival...See we want love and we need love and we end up taking anything that closely resembles love...Kind of like the dog chasing his tail and we see the influence of Chaos even in our most intimate relationships...I really want to explore the way outside influences like the media, religion and misinformation play a big part in our daily lives as well in our relationships with others, but that will be next time on...Sex, Love & The Lies We Tell Ourselves!
