It is a Happy Maniac Monday's in the Nutz household anyway...Today I am going to break from the norm to do a little dancing and singing and praising the Lord...I am serious...I have been asking Him rather nicely lately too, to send me a sign that he is paying attention to this bullshit going on in America and this was his sign to me...Oh praise his name...Now I just need the Shrub and Drop Shot Dick to get their due...Still trying to be nice!
Gonzales has officially tendered his resignation...I first saw the news in my inbox from Robert Greenwald and Brave New films...This is the sight that greeted me this glorious morning comrades...

What a joyous day! I'm watching Alberto Gonzales resign right now to "be with his family." He and Rove will have lots of quality time together!
Congratulations on your work, your efforts, your signatures. When we all started the campaign to impeach Gonzales it seemed a far and distant possibility. But we learn, once again, that taking the lead, taking the initiative, and using our tools with the new media can have an impact.

WACO, Tex., Aug. 27 — Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales, whose tenure has been marred by controversy and accusations of perjury before Congress, announced his resignation in Washington today, declaring that he had “lived the American dream” by being able to lead the Justice Department.
Mr. Gonzales, who had rebuffed calls for his resignation for months, submitted it to President Bush by telephone on Friday, a senior administration official said. There had been rumblings over the weekend that Mr. Gonzales’s departure was imminent, although the White House sought to quell the rumors.
Mr. Gonzales appeared cheerful and composed when he announced that he was stepping down effective Sept. 17. His very worst days on the job were “better than my father’s best days,” he said, alluding to his family’s hardscrabble past.
“Thank you, and God bless America,” Mr. Gonzales said, exiting without responding to questions. MORE!

I was going to to add to this post the rest of the rats who have been jumping from the sinking shit..errr ship but I also said I need to go commune with nature to thank God for getting rid of Gonzales..It is a beautiful day in Baltimore and I am going to go enjoy it because their wont be many more like this...Unless Cheney or the Shrub dies or resigns or get's hit by a bus crossing the street...You know it could happen...Secretly hoping!
