I hate doing blog post's like I did Monday because of this simple quote. "Small minds discuss people, average minds discuss events and great minds discuss ideas." I consider my mind to be a great mind and I let myself be manipulated by stupid people into giving them validation by writing about them. However, I hate writing about this next topic even more. As you can tell by the picture it is a subject that we should all be sick of hearing about.

I had just finished talking to my sister in South Jersey about the Great East Coast Earthquake and I joke about it now but it did shake me up (pun intended) earlier when it happened. The ground should never move under your feet when you are standing still, but that is another post. So I poured me another drink to ease my nerves and all of a sudden shots rang out. Now while shots ranging out on Planet Baltimore is not uncommon, it has been for the past 15 years where I have lived in this city. Tonight though the shots rang out right under my second floor window. I heard three shots. I heard the first bang and then a few seconds later I heard another shot followed by a scream then another shot. Now there are a lot of kids in my neighborhood so my first reaction was that's just some kids with some firecrackers playing around, but something about the scream made me think that this was not just some kids playing around. After a few minutes after the noise quieted down I went to my window and didn't see anything so I sat back down and thought maybe it was just some kids playing around. Then here comes the sirens and a few minutes after that I hear the helicopter. I return to the window and look out and there is about 10 police officers outside my back window looking for gun casings and taping off the crime scene and also someone lying on the ground.

A few minutes ago I found out that it was two people shot the one lying on the ground 10 yards from my window was fatally shot. While the fact that this happened right outside my window really disturbs me but I am more disturbed by my own reaction. The fact that I thought no more of this than some kids playing around. That I am so used to hearing gunshots and people yelling and screaming that I have all but tuned it out says a lot about me also. Later this morning I guess the "paper is going to read murder black on black murder...again!"

Manic Mondays - My Mania Part Duex

I know I haven't been here in a while but that is because I have been dealing with matters of the heart and I am not going to lie my ass been spinning out of control but I got my perspective back and I need to tell ya whats been going on lately in my little part of the world cause it is some shit straight out of Bizzaro World! Planet Baltimore Shit for sure. Okay here we go...

I am not a tough guy it is not in my nature. I am lover! As a Taurus I am gentle, even tempered, good natured, modest and slow to anger except here lately. I will normally go out of my way to avoid confrontations and ill feelings. However, if pushed I will blank-out and lose all self control and you would think you have just been hit by a Cat 5 hurricane. Again I try to avoid that at all costs. Not that I am afraid because I am a big guy, I got muscles and I don't do dumb shit meaning dealing with other peoples hang-ups and stupidity. It is not in my nature to fuck with people and I hate it when people try to fuck with me because I am me. I put the "em-fassis" on try to fuck with me because you punks can't move me for real! Now I do look good as hell most of the time especially with a fresh fade and clean shave and the ladies love me and the guys want to be like me but I rarely say anything to anyone cause I don't want to have to hurt anyone or anyone's feelings. Plus when I do say something some of you people act real stupid. I feel ya staring at me from 3-4 blocks away sometimes so by the time you get to me I am trying to figure out if you're a fan or foe. Most times it's just a garden variety hater and I love you guys because if you're hating on me just from looking at me I know I am doing something right. If you're not a hater I know sometimes it's that look on my face, a mix of confidence and caution, but I am old old school I speak when I am spoken too otherwise I keep it moving. I may on occasion flirt with the ladies but for the most part I just look at you looking at me.

I have tried numerous times to figure out what about me that makes folks wanna try me or test my resolve. Maybe its the convinced look on my face because I rarely smile unless someone is telling jokes, I am wrapped in a chord, line or verse of music or I see some stupid shit. However, here lately a lot of people have been giving me hard looks, running past me in their cars and some of these people really seem to think they have some bearing on the decisions I have been making here recently. Uh NO! YOU DON'T! So stop wasting your time! I swear sometimes my life seems like some kind of TV "Sitcomdocudrama"! I say something in the place I am staying for instance like I am going to the store and all of a sudden the people above me start acting stupid walking back and forth stomping on the floor and popping out of they houses and seemingly following me, people trying to stare me down. It's really crazy shit! Yesterday for example I start walking to the 24hr 365 liquor store to get a pack of Newports and a 12 oz Heineken and all of a sudden there is all of this activity like little Indian girls (dot variety) staring me down while walking up on me acting like they are going to walk me off the sidewalk, cars with folks inside I have seen before mean mugging me rolling up on me and real recently the police rolling up and down eyeballing me. They rolled up on me like they had solid evidence that I was going to rob the damn liquor store I went to or to try to cop some weed or dope they way they was acting. Really?!? Cut it out! The same people that more than likely called you guys was smoking like the shit was legal when I walked past a group of them. Maybe they thought that me smelling it would make me break my sobriety and go get some. Haaaa! Then to top the shit off when I came home there were 3 squad cars and one undercover car sitting out in the parking lot. Then some Indian dude (again dot variety) was walking towards me like he was going to do something. Playing chicken with me. If he had of made any moves other than to get out of my way it was going to take all of those cops to get me off that ass!! Now maybe its for my benefit, but I get that tingling in my spidey senses telling me that either someone is calling them on me because they are afraid I am about to go the fuck off or some lame ass attempt to force some kind of outcome where I go the fuck off!! More Dumb Shit! For the record I carry one weapon with me at all times and that is my beautiful mind and it is moving 10 steps ahead of any of my body parts and most of you! So if you really think you have anything to do with any of my decisions stop wasting your time cause all you are really doing is pissing me off and wasting precious time you could be using to enrich yourselves or reading my blog so that you can have this inner peace and contentment like me.

So lets all remember the 3rd & 4th Basic Law(s) of Stupidity:

3rd - A stupid person is a person who causes losses to another person or to a group of persons while himself deriving no gain and even possibly incurring losses.

4th - Non-stupid people always underestimate the damaging power of stupid individuals. In particular non-stupid people constantly forget that at all times and places and under any circumstances to deal and/or associate with stupid people always turns out to be a costly mistake.

Since I am highly versed in the Laws Of Stupidity you can rest assured I will not deal with stupid or stupid acting people at all. If that is what is pissing you off about me, the fact that I won't speak or or even acknowledge your presence it is either because I think you fall into one or more of those two categories or I have already have had contact with you and are convinced you are stupid. So let's review...I don't fuck with people so I do not expect to be fucked with or fucked around, I try to avoid confrontations at all cost, I am not scared I just hate all forms of stupidity and fuckery.

Now that is out of the way here is who I really am. I enjoy art, music and culture. I have strong aesthetic tastes, meaning I love art, I am an artist and consider what I do here an art form. I love all things beautiful...Ladies...And I can find beauty in most things, although I am repulsed by all things ugly and or sordid, which includes attitudes and feelings. I love music with a passion unmatched and I have a gift for making music and I have always wanted to make music. I believe just like Bill & Ted, that I am going to be the one the writes the song that brings the world together and ushers in the new utopian society. I am a poet, rapper and writer although I get so disgusted sometimes I refuse to share my art with the human race. I know there is only one race of Man and that we are different cultures and colors we all still have the same basics needs and wants. Racism is a trick that keeps us fighting among ourselves while the elite rape and pillage the earth and justify their greed.

While I detest religion, another tool of the rich and wealthy, I do have a very spiritual belief system that does include a God just not that jealous, vindictive, cruel, unloving, uncaring god with the human emotions that the rest of the world fears. I literally cringe when I hear people say they are god-fearing when God is love and with so much pure evil that exists in the world today to be feared. Why not be devil fearing or in fear of these human demons that walk the face of the earth and commit the most horrific crimes daily? Not too mention that for the life of me I cannot understand why can't people understand that God, the kingdom of heaven joy and all of those good things are inside of us all. That WE are the most powerful beings in our world, predict our futures and change our lives. That it takes Us to want to change our lives and worlds for the better not God. Cause if it was solely up to God alone wouldn't he change everyone? I mean really what makes more sense...That some imaginary hand from the sky pushes us to be better human beings or we decide ourselves we want to be better human beings? However, this post is not about god or religion I will save that for later this is about me and my mania or lack there of so back to it...

I am a comfort creature and pleasure seeker and I like to have the best of everything especially good food and drink although I do overindulge on occasion and suffer from it later in the form of sour stomach and the occasional hangover. However, if you drink from the top shelf and leave the cheap stuff alone you rarely have to worry about hangovers even if you do have one or three drinks too many. In my case I get hangovers when I mix and match liquors or drink too many beers and have a couple of drinks together. Lately, I have been avoiding the beer altogether because it makes me feel bloated and puts on weight fast.

I can be a little bourgeoisie hence my love for material possessions and the finer things in life. I am generally a good law abiding citizen with a strong sense of right and wrong, but it is my sense of right and wrong not someone else's. I dislike people that litter especially when there is a trashcan nearby it offends my sense of beauty for nature. Planet Baltimore would be a much nicer place if the indigenous people didn't litter. I have a quick wit and tend to be more practical than intellectual however, this Taurus is very high functioning, intellectual sometimes bordering on the brilliant and excelling in the written word. It takes me a minute to understand the higher abstract concepts of math like algebra and calculus but I am determined to excel in every endeavor I indulge in.

On the darker side I can sometimes be ultra conservative and self righteous, brooding, unoriginal, rigid and hostile to change. Over the years though I have learned change is gonna come whether I like it or not. I can be judgmental, bullheaded, downright mean and unforgiving. Stuck in my opinions and fears even if it is irrational. I have a favorite saying about "it" and I do not know who said it but I think I heard it in the rooms of N/A, "If IT doesn't get better with you, you better get better with IT cause IT don't give a shit." My sponsor used to tell me that all of the time. I really try to avoid going over too or giving into the dark side and if I do give in to the darker me it is after several days of pushing from forces outside my control. I let a lot of bullshit go on a daily basis from people no where near my mental or social strata because I recognize it for what it is but after a few days of the same bullshit I will defend myself viciously and when my mind fires it leaves big gaping holes in my victims!

Now by nature I usually give people the benefit of the doubt until they do something to me and then I have to refer back to the 1st Law of Stupidity:

Always and inevitably everyone underestimates the number of stupid individuals in circulation.

At first, the statement sounds trivial, vague and horribly ungenerous. Closer scrutiny will however reveal its realistic veracity. No matter how high are one's estimates of human stupidity, one is repeatedly and recurrently startled by the fact that:

a) people whom one had once judged rational and intelligent turn out to be unashamedly stupid.

b) day after day, with unceasing monotony, one is harassed in one's activities by stupid individuals who appear suddenly and unexpectedly in the most inconvenient places and at the most improbable moments.

Manic Mondays - My Mania

I woke up this morning and I did not feel that usual dread I do most mornings because I feel all is lost and there is no sense in trying anymore. That it is going to be another day wondering if I am ever going to get a job or even a job interview because I swear I do not want to spend another day wondering if I will be able to hold my head up and act like the man I pretend to be from the shame of not being able to provide for myself and loved ones. It was also the first morning in a couple weeks that I woke up because my body got the proper amount of sleep and not because the new neighbors above me were stomping over top my head or the stress of facing another day dealing with that situation and not going up to the roof and giving them a little bit of their own medicine which would have probably felt better than the actual good nights sleep. I could bang on the ceiling and start a war of attrition but I do realize that my karma just like the United States can't afford another war and not too mention I have to realize that I have absolutely no control of what someone else does. Maybe they don't realize that what comes around goes around or they don't think about that. More than likely the latter. I know there is a simple solution to this and just about any conflict that may arise and that is to simply think about how you yourself would want to be treated and act accordingly but I guess when people are caught up in the moment they really do not think about that or rather they really don't think at all UNTIL they are on the other side of it, but today none of that mattered because they did and it was all quiet and peaceful.

When I left my house this morning I noticed the heatwave had dissipated and it was a nice breeze flowing. Seems people have recognized that global warming is not some made up liberal plot but is actually man made from cars, industrial pollution and cow farts. That they have started driving less not because of the ever increasing gas prices, but their concern for the environment and their children and their children that will inherit these problems. I heard that conservatives and teabaggers like Sarah Palin have given up on the lie that CO2, CO1, Methane and other greenhouse gases are good for humans and the environment. I always think about that absurd commercial that shows a highway with a 1001 cars on them spewing black smoke and some yo yo coming on and talking about how a pack of cigarettes are worse than that. Fill your car with automobile exhaust and smoke you die. Fill it with cigarette smoke you may get sick or smell really bad but you live.

While I was at the bus stop I actually saw a guy start to throw his trash out his car window and I guess he saw me standing there with the tear in my eye like that slot Indian dude Iron Eyes Cody from those old littering commercials and decided against it and actually pulled over and placed the trash in the trash can. I didn't really have a tear in my eye but I did shake my head with a disgusted look on my face, but I guessed it worked. Then like magic everyone else I saw today actually put the trash in the can instead of throwing it on the ground next to the can. What struck me as odd is that those same people that usually throw the trash on the ground and out their car windows are normally the very same people screaming the loudest about the big ass killer rats that roam the streets of Planet Baltimore kicking cats in the ass. I also noticed that the apartment complex where I live has started making people recycle by putting signs on the three dumpsters instead and fining people for not sorting. I mean it only makes sense after the Planet City Council spent so much money and time on a massive campaign to get everyone to recycle and save a few bucks in the process for more police protection.

I heard that the oil companies agreed to re-write a new energy bill that have them paying much more in taxes because they realize for the last ten years they have made record profits and since they have been more than just partly responsible for what is going on with the environment. I mean they let oil spew from an underwater leak for literally months and that is just here in the United States. We are not even skimming the surface (pun intended) of all the different environmental disasters and oil spills that didn't get as much press as the Valdez and the latest the Gulf Oil spill. I also read that Exxon finally paid for the Valdez oil spill with interest for all the years they held it up in court, again from the enormous profits they have made over the last two decades since the spill.

I read or heard that our leaders stopped playing politricks and passed a debt ceiling bill that taxed the rich who were paying less in taxes than people making hundreds of thousands of dollars less than them and struggling to pay their bills while working harder and longer. I heard they cut military spending and entitlements. I read that Congress gave up on massive spending cuts that only hurt the poor and working class and didn't touch Social Security or Medicare and fixed that disastrous Medicaid Prescription program. I heard the President and Congress made a reverse NAFTA type deal with Canada to allow we the people to get cheaper prescription drugs, so that my mother and elderly aunts and uncles and the rest of we the people's elderly or sick didn't have to decide which was more important month to month, eating or taking care of their health. I heard he stopped spending billions of dollars in stupid overseas wars against abstract ideas and concepts and brought our soldiers home. He eventually put those billions of dollars to use helping those soldiers get re-acclimated to life at home and rehabilitation programs and giving tax breaks to companies that created jobs here in America and not in China, India and elsewhere.

Someone told me that President Obama actually signed a bill that officially closed down Guantanamo Bay and 100's of other secret prisons, stopped renditions and torture, formally brought back habeas corpus and stopped all military tribunals saving us millions of dollars that he put back into education and fixing America's rotting infrastructure. I taped a brilliant speech by the president like the ones he made on the campaign trail urging the world to come together and stop world hunger and to cure all the treatable diseases in Africa and other third world countries where people were dying from simple diseases like malaria and complications from drinking dirty water. He urged the world's pharmaceutical companies to stop stifling promising research into real cures and not just medicating them with overpriced drugs that had more side effects than the diseases they were supposed to be helping. I remember hearing him say some things in his speech about equality and true democracy and I was happy and smiling because I finally felt that this man was actually gonna make America live up to it's promise. Instead of just talking though he actually wrote out a plan to accomplish all these things I heard him urge the world to wake up and and that resonated with me until I woke up and realized I had been sleeping and all of this had been a dream...I think it was a combination of the stomping above me, the trash that actually hit my foot from someones car and the sheer absurdity of all of this stuff happening over night!

I heard the president actually really caved in and gave the republicans and teabaggers 98% of what they were asking for and these assholes are still talking about this is not a deal they can vote for. I really wish that was a dream but alas it is the cold hard reality of just how determinedly destructive a few stupid people with a little bit of power can be!

Manic Monday's - Another One Bites The Dust!

First I gotta preface this post with a disclaimer. I loved Amy Winehouse as an artist. I think I might have even done a post where I compared her song "Tears Dry On Their Own" with Aretha Franklin's "Say A Little Prayer" both brilliant songs that were well written, well produced and well song. So this is in no way a post condemning her or any artist that had emotional and mental problems exacerbated by drugs and alcohol but more about the sadness in losing any person with the talent that she had at such a young age. I consider any one under the age of 50 still young also. But "Here We Goes"!

There is nothing cool or romantic about someone with the amount of talent Amy Winehouse had to die at 27 years of age. That old bullshit about "living fast and dying young" is just that bullshit. When I heard about Amy dying on Saturday I felt the same way did when I heard Kurt Cobain had committed suicide at age 27. Now Amy Winehouse in effect committed suicide at 27, joining Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix both of whom also died at age 27. Let's make no mistake about it they all committed suicide. The drugs and alcohol at young ages causes depression and other problems and when you add that on top of all the internal conflicts they had it is the recipe for ending your life early. Her problems with drugs were well documented so I wont repeat them here. While she wasn't going as hard on the drugs she was still binge drinking heavily and it is rumored that a "bad" ecstasy pill while drinking heavily might have led to seizures, she was suffering from, that ultimately killed her.

There is supposedly some kind of "Rock and Soul 27 Club" and it is linked to the fact that quite a few artists have died at age 27. The club now has a 35 person membership roster with the death of Winehouse which includes Jim Morrison, blues singer Robert Johnson, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones. On the surface it seems to appear that there is something to it but we have to realize not all the people linked to the music industry on that list that died at 27 was due to drugs and alcohol. Mia Zapata of the punk rock band the Gits was murdered at 27 nearly 28. Robert Johnson was supposedly poisoned by a jealous husband who owned a juke joint and was married to a woman Johnson was flirting with. Brian Jones former Rolling Stones musician was later thought to be murdered also. Now while it is a pretty impressive list one could say that maybe that is the age that the body finally just gives in from long term drug and alcohol abuse especially if it goes unchecked. I was on the same path back in the 90's with cocaine and if I didn't get some help I might have ended up the same way.

I hope you finally find some peace Amy and I just wanted you to know Imma miss you and that wonderful voice and the joy it brought me!

That's is because his name is really pronounced (bone-r) and that is because he is a dick. You know Boehner walked out of the Debt Ceiling talks with the President today. You didn't? From MSN:

WASHINGTON — House Speaker John Boehner abruptly broke off talks with President Barack Obama Friday night on a deal to make major cuts in federal spending and avert a threatened government default, sending already uncertain compromise efforts into instant crisis.
Within minutes, an obviously peeved Obama virtually ordered congressional leaders to the White House Saturday morning for fresh negotiations on raising the nation's debt limit. "We've got to get it done. It is not an option not to do it," he declared.
For the first time since talks began, he declined to offer assurances, when asked, that default would be avoided. Moments later, however, he said he was confident of that outcome.
"This was an extraordinary fair deal," said the president. "If it was unbalanced, it was unbalanced in the direction of not enough revenue."
"We have now run out of time," said Obama. "What we're not going to do is continue to play games and string this along," said the president. "I've been left at the altar now a couple of times."

Last Year, America Spoke Loud and Clear. We Still Haven't Changed Our Minds: Tax The Rich, Cut Defense Spending!

A little more than a year ago, I attended the AmericaSpeaks town hall, which was billed as an opportunity for Americans to have their say in the America's budget decisions. I was so impressed by how informed and assertive my fellow Americans were about standing up for other people, and that's what I wrote.

What I didn't say was how curious I was about how and why the event was put together. Yes, I knew that Pete Peterson had funded it, but who was pushing it? Who was this AmericaSpeaks group, anyway?

I talked to a knowledgeable insider (someone who'd worked on the issue for decades), and he told me AmericaSpeaks didn't initiate the project - it came from the White House. In fact, he told me, Austen Goolsbee had been tasked by the White House with bringing public opinion in line with supporting cuts to Social Security and Medicare. MORE!

Now why would "we the people" support cuts to Medicare and Social Security? We don't and no rethug billionaire are going to make us believe that that is a good idea under any circumstances. BTW, the Billionaire in question is Pete Peterson. His foundation sole purpose is to make us believe that the only way we can balance the budget and become "fiscally responsible" is by cutting Medicare benefits and Social Security. Do not listen to this guy. One sure way to become fiscally responsible is to tax rich guys like him, cut down on defense spending and reexamine that Bush Medicare Prescription plan. Remember that plan was spurred on in part by "we the people" buying our drugs cheaper in Canada in effect cutting out and cutting the massive profits of Bush's buddies who own Pharmaceutical companies. That little gem of a plan was going to cost "we the people" over a trillion dollars. From WAPO:

The White House released budget figures yesterday indicating that the new Medicare prescription drug benefit will cost more than $1.2 trillion in the coming decade, a much higher price tag than President Bush suggested when he narrowly won passage of the law in late 2003.

The projections represent the most complete picture to date of how much the program will cost after it begins next year. The expense of the new drug benefit has been a source of much controversy since the day Congress approved it, with Democrats and some Republicans complaining that the White House has consistently low-balled the expected cost to the government. I love how they claim the cost is to the government. Who funds the government? Yeah and don't YOU forget it!

Remember that SNL skit with Keenan Thompson yelling "Fix It!" Well That's what you "Fools on The Hill" need to do...FIX IT DAMNIT! I know a lot of folks might say, But Menace it's not that easy!" Yes it is! If they stop playing "politricks" and fix all the stupid shit they let Bush get away with it can be easily fixed.

Remember these same "fiscally reprehensible" hacks have voted ten times within ten years to raise the debt ceiling. 7 times for George the Decider! So I guess this is about Obama being the first blackish president because he is damn sure not a democrat, liberal or progressive for real. Nope! Until I see the pic of him in the oval office with his feet on the desk next to a bottle of Hennessy with a blunt in his hand and him french inhaling

he is just another cog in the machine that works against our best interests.

Okay let's move on..."Are YOU Ready For Some Football?!?" I am! However, the NFLPA might not be. From ESPN.Com:

NFL owners approved a proposed 10-year labor agreement with the NFL Players Association on Thursday, leaving the potential end to the league's lockout in the hands of the players.
Owners voted 31-0 to accept the proposed collective bargaining agreement, with the Oakland Raiders abstaining, after a full day of meetings at an Atlanta-area hotel.
NFLPA leaders told ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen a vote among its 32 player representatives appears likely Friday after the group received the "finishing points" of the agreement NFL owners approved Thursday. The NFLPA did not receive those details until after a two-hour conference call with player reps came to a conclusion without a vote Thursday night.
"All in all, despite the games that were played by the NFL, things look much more optimistic," a players' leadership source said.
DeMaurice Smith and other NFLPA officials will attend the funeral for Myra Kraft, the wife of New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, on Friday. It is uncertain how it will affect the timeline of further discussions.
One of the sticking points for the NFLPA is that some players want an opt-out clause seven years into the 10-year deal. Such a clause would include a penalty for the side that exercised that option. It is not necessarily a deal-breaker, but some players continue to recommend it.
The NFL players leadership group also is at odds with the league's condition that players recertify as a union before owners will lift the lockout. MORE!

Now while I am all for the season starting I am more concerned that the players get all they want and more. NEW YORK — Elliot Handler, who with his wife grew Mattel Inc. from a small home-based picture-frame business into the largest U.S. toy maker and created the Hot Wheels brand, died on Thursday. He was 95.

The company first produced picture frames, but Handler started making dollhouse furniture and other wooden toys on the side from scraps. Mattel's first hit product was a "Uke-A-Doodle," a child-size ukulele and the Burp gun, a cap pistol.

Mattel's success took off after it made a gamble and bet its entire net worth at the time — $500,000 — on a sponsorship of Disney and ABC's "The Mickey Mouse Club." The show was a success and Mattel became a household name. Its annual sales grew from $5 million to $14 million in three years.

Handler's wife Ruth created the Barbie doll in 1959, naming it after their daughter. The doll quickly became an American icon and a touchstone of cultural politics. Today it is one of Mattel's best performing brands. Ruth died in 2002 at the age of 85. Ken was named after their son Kenneth, and other Barbie dolls were named after grandchildren.

In the 1960s, trying to create a toy that would be as big a success with boys as Barbie was with girls, Elliot hit upon an idea for miniature die-cast vehicles with sleek designs. Hot Wheels were introduced in 1968 and became a big hit. MORE!

The suspect in the twin attacks Friday that killed dozens of people in Norway was identified early Saturday as a 32-year-old Norwegian farmer.

TV2, the country's largest broadcaster, and the newspaper Dagbladet identified him as Anders Behring Breivik, 32, describing him as a member of right-wing extremist groups. Shortly thereafter, The Telegraph newspaper of London reported the same information, citing Norwegian Justice Minister Knut Storberget.

TV2 also said Behring Breivik had an automatic weapon and a Glock pistol registered in his name.

Behring Breivik was still being questioned early Saturday and had not been charged, authorities told Dagenblat.
A Facebook profile for an Oslo man of that name and age was removed early Saturday. It included a profile photo identical to the one being used by Norwegian media. In the profile, he listed himself as "single," "Christian" and "conservative" and says he is director of Breivik Geofarm.

The account had no posts. A Twitter account apparently for Behring Breivik used the same profile photo and has but one tweet, dated July 17: "One person with a belief is equal to the force of 100000 who have only interests." MORE!

Make sure you read some of the comments of this story as they are very interesting. Seems that if you are Muslim and you do something like this you are a terrorist. I happened to be up early Wednesday morning and I caught Matt Lauer talking to some guy who's name I can't remember and how he was saying that he thought that the premise of Rupert Murdoch not knowing what his executives and journalists were up to was sort of an inside joke at News Of the World and the hearings. Of course I cannot find any video of the interview or anything of any relevance except for the shaving cream incident, which I am sure Murdoch had set-up to interrupt the hearing himself. The guy Lauer was talking to about the Murdoch hearings with Parliament even hinted at that himself. The whole thing kind of reminded me of Junior Soprano in court playing the "I can't remember card". I was waiting for him to start acting like Frank Pentangeli from the Godfather 2 when he was called in to testify against Michael Corleone and saw his brother from Sicily sitting there, "I never knew no godfather. I got my own family, senator ". The same man that once said this:

I try to keep in touch with the details... I also look at the product daily. That doesn't mean you interfere, but it's important occasionally to show the ability to be involved. It shows you understand what's happening.

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — He’s supposed to keep drugs off the streets, but a city police officer has been accused of selling heroin in uniform and in the parking lot of a police station.

Weijia Jiang explains how investigators unraveled the drug ring.

It was the Baltimore police department that asked the FBI to investigate. Now one of their own could spend the rest of his life in prison if convicted of felony drug and gun charges.

Baltimore police officer Daniel Redd, 41, is accused of being one of the masterminds in a conspiracy to distribute heroin across the city with drugs shipped in from Africa.
“He’s supposed to be helping us, protecting us from the ones on the street doing it,” said Jackie Chukwu, Northwest Baltimore.

Redd and four others are named in a seven count grand jury indictment. It says Redd made drug deals while on duty at the Northwest District, where he’s assigned to patrol. Federal agents arrested him there on Tuesday morning.

“We hope that sends a powerful message that if you carry guns and deal drugs, whether you’re a street corner junkie or a police officer, you’re going to face a lengthy stay in federal prison,” said Rod Rosenstein, U.S. Attorney.

In one of the most brazen accounts mentioned in the indictment, prosecutors say Redd walked right out of the Northwest police station wearing his full police uniform to another part of the parking lot where he handed off an undisclosed amount of heroin. MORE!

I can remember a time not long ago when CEO's and guy's in charge of other guy's who did dumb shit and got caught would own up to scandals and take the blame because it "happened on their watch". Not anymore even if they were once quoted saying:

Manic Monday's - The Good Old Days!

Try as I might I cannot remember "The Good Old Days" that everyone keeps talking about. I scour the Internet and read history books but these "Good Old Days" seem very elusive to me. There was the Ice Ages, The Dark Ages, The Crusades, The Inquisition, The Revolutionary War, Slavery (which is still in effect today just that includes all peoples), Civil War, Lincoln Assassinated, The Slaughter of the American Indian, The Rise of Organized Crime, Suffrage, Prohibition, The Great Depression, The Rise Of Hitler, World War 1 & 2, Hiroshima & Nagasaki, The Korean War, Vietnam, The Cuban Missile Crisis, The Cold War, The Assassinations of the 60's (The Kennedy Brothers John & Robert, MLK, Malcolm X), The 6 Day War, Palestine, The Oil Embargo, Gas Lines, Watergate, Nixon Impeachment, Ayatollah Khomeini, The Iran Hostage Crisis, The Iraq-Iran War, Iran Contra, Aids, The Rise of the Colombian Drug Cartels, Crack, Bush 1, Desert Storm, NAFTA, Bosnia, Kosovo, Bush 2, Large Tax Cuts For The Top 2% Of Americans, The Rise Of The Neocons, Enron, 911, US Attacks Afghanistan, US Attacks Iraq, Abu Gharib, Bush 2 the Sequel, Katrina, The Bailouts (Bear Stearns-$30 billion, Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac-$400 billion, AIG-$180 billion, General Motors-$25 billion, TARP-$700 billion, Citigroup-$280 billion), Obama Elected, Afghanistan Troop Surge and most recently Rupert Murdoch and The Spying and Hacking Scandal. But no "Good Old Days". Yet we keep reminiscing about times that we the people never had. The rich and elite may recall "The Good Old Days" but damn if I can.

There are thousands more of these incidents that supposedly make up the "Good Old Days" and a lot of them are little things that seem harmless on the surface but they are deliberate and calculating steps to force certain outcomes. Random chance has all but been taken out of the equation. As far as the Murdoch debacle people have forgotten that they are being spied on, hacked, financially ruined and pissed on everyday by their own government and we will come to find out that the only crime the moneyed elitist Murdoch will be guilty of is getting caught. I hope you guy's didn't think that once Obama took office or rather it was given to him that spying on Americans stopped or torture ceased, that the wars were going to stop and all the troops would come home and Guantanamo Bay was going to close or any of the other thousands of promises he made on the campaign trail were going to see the light of day. We wanted Universal Healthcare not health insurance. We were promised and end to the wars, we got an escalation. We voted for change and we got more of the same in triplicate. There might have been good old moments, brief snippets in our personal lives but nothing in history past or recent that indicate there were "Good Old Days" for the majority.

If you really think about what all of those events really have in common you should be able to see that there is no such thing as democracy never was especially when a few control the many. It always affects first the poor who have been trained to expect the worse, the common working man and the almost non existent middle class who really doesn't realize or want to admit it to themselves that for every one step forward they are getting pushed back 3. The Christian Right or working class conservatives, the "1% wannabes" as I call them who are either to stupid to realize or have brainwashed themselves into believing that they are going to let you in their really really exclusive club. You are being used and then abused and ridiculed after you have played your part, well I might add. Then there are the real nutjobs like the "Teabaggers" that are always voting and screaming against the very social programs that they themselves use and have benefited from, like public education which has declined so much over the past 30 years its no wonder that they cannot understand that they are playing themselves. The disability they claim that there parents claim, the social security they might be claiming. Most of if not all the programs that FDR put into place. Thinking that they are entitled to it and everyone else is just leaching off of it. You are not entitled to a damn thing because you claim to be of a certain political color or set.

Here's a bit of irony about that situation too. We shake our heads in disgust about thugs in California and elsewhere nowadays killing themselves and each other over red and blue yet our country is fiercely divided, very unevenly I might add, along those same lines. Mainly throughout the South and the Midwest where you have a lot of poor to working class, Christian, slightly less educated people than their East and West Coast counterparts. We all know deep down inside that they are both just different sides of the same coin yet we rationalize it by saying it's the lesser of two evils, which will never change the fact that it is still evil nonetheless! If we really think about it we should be able to realize that over the past 20 years we have seen the greatest inequitable transfer of wealth never before seen in the history of mankind. Well over 16 Trillion dollars and counting. What did we the people receive? Yeah that's right about $600 dollars. If we really think about it we will realize that we are always reminiscing about a time that never occurred and will never occur unless we wake up, stop fighting amongst ourselves and recognize who the real enemy is. If you really think about it you will realize that religion, nationality, cultural differences, homophobia, racism (which is not even real because we are all of the same race - Human), sexism, nepotism and all the rest of the -ism's are all tools they use to keep us distracted from the rampant "class-ism" that like racism pits one small group of people (the rich and privileged) against a much greater group of people (the rest of us) who accept their lot in life because the rich and elite have used their tools really well to train the masses. Religion and the bible teach people to “Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s, and unto God the things that are God’s”. It teaches people to wait for their rewards in the afterlife and heaven while the rich and privileged live heaven on earth.

If we really think about it we will realize we have made ourselves slaves to a few. The Good Old Days of the Feudal system retrofitted for the modern age. Sharecropping for the Corporations that now enjoy more benefits and freedoms than the majority of human beings. If we really pondered our situation we would realize we pay them to let us work for them in the form of income taxes. I do all of the work and someone takes a few percentage points off the top without providing any labor. I could understand if someone from the government came to the workplace and told me to take it easy for a few hours while they helped knock out the workload. If we really really pondered our situation we would realize especially you "1% wannabes" and you loud ignorant ass teabaggers that the very same corporations that are supposed to pay the taxes are enjoying the best and biggest social program of all time and that is corporate welfare. If we really tried to ponder our situation we would realize that the only tax I should be paying are on the items I consume or purchase. Maybe that would be a example of the "Good Old Days". The days before the Federal Reserve, Fractional Banking and Americans paying taxes to bankers to offset the cost of them printing our currency and charging us interest for the privilege of doing this. Yeah those were the days!

The Weekly (C)Wrap-Up - REALLY?!

So I normally write this shit on Friday nights so that it is ready early morning Saturday but I went out Friday night, first time in a long time to go to the 30th Annual Artscape Festival here on Planet Baltimore. Mainly to go see Fantasia to find out for myself if the rumors about her being pregnant AGAIN by the same married dude as before are true. I wish I got a photo but I left my camera at home. My bad! There are a couple of vids on youtube from the concert last night but I didn't run across any good photos and unless you were right up front it was really hard to see. I am sure alot of other folks went to see for themselves as well.

I did catch a couple of glimpses of Fantasia and she looked a little heavy around the belly to me but only time will tell if she is really pregnant. Now Fantasia is a "thick-um" to begin with and there are a couple other scenarios that could account for the recent weight gain, first the whole pregnant thing again. Then she is playing Mahalia Jackson in an upcoming movie and she might be putting on the weight and getting into character. Then of course her love of "Cornbread and Collard Greens" could be the reason but she was a little "thicker" than normal. You can see for yourself in THIS VID from last night. I suggest you turn down/off your sound because the sound of this video is horrible. No offense to the poster but it is what it is! Plus we are just trying to see here. She had on a big blousey thing that kind of reminded me of a toga. I did find a couple of pics online of her and her boyfriend (termed loosely) from June 29th.

According to the website Eurweb she is supposedly 2.5 months pregnant with dudes baby. The pics were taken back in June when she was in Barbados for a concert. By the same token radaronline reports back in February:

American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino is putting a stop to pregnancy rumors, but she does admit to gaining weight, saying it's for a role in a new film she'll be starring in.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Casey Anthony is spending her last day in jail Saturday preparing for an uncertain future after nearly three years behind bars.

Anthony was acquitted of first-degree murder in Caylee's death earlier this month in a sensational trial that was carried extensively on cable television stations. She was found guilty of four counts of lying to police, but with time served and good behaviour credits, she didn't have to serve out her four-year sentence.

Orange County Jail officials planned to release Anthony sometime Sunday under circumstances they refused to disclose. One of her attorneys, Cheney Mason, said Friday that Anthony is scared to leave jail, given numerous threats on her life and the scorn of a large segment of the public that believes she had something to do with the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.

Mason said he isn't taking any chances: "We are all vigilant and I am armed. MORE!

Let's hope Mr Mason doesn't go from vigilant to vigilante. Everyone needs to leave that trick alone. Stop with the death threats and let it go. If she actually killed that little girl you can best believe God's guy Karma will get her ass or she is gonna do something stupid like OJ did and end up in jail. Like I said last week if ya wanna be mad at anyone be mad at the prosecution cause they didn't meet the burden of proof.

How about 178 educators told to quit or be fired in the aftermath of that Atlanta test cheating scandal. They would have to fire my ass because idk how it is in GA but here in MD you can't get your unemployment if ya quit. From CNN:

Atlanta (CNN) -- The superintendent of Atlanta Public Schools has ordered that 178 educators allegedly involved in a teaching scandal resign or face termination proceedings.

In a letter, Superintendent Erroll B. Davis Jr. gave them the opportunity to resign by Wednesday, said Keith Bromery, director of media relations for the schools.

The letter was sent Thursday to educators listed on a report about the state Criterion-Reference Competency Tests as having confessed to or having been implicated in testing improprieties.

On Monday, at a school board meeting, Davis replaced four area superintendents and a school principal. MORE!

Over at the Md State Dept of Eds website they are touting that for the 3rd straight year Md schools have received number one rankings in 2011. Maybe cheating is the reason why? I am just asking! I do have to say that although these educators were dishonest I have to put the blame on that No Kid Left Behind legislation that puts a lot of pressure on educators to get kids to pass test's to get tax dollars instead of teaching them to learn.

After denying that their clinic offers "pray away the gay" therapy there comes that pesky videotape thing. From Crooks & Liars:

ABC News presented undercover video Monday that confirms the clinic owned by Michele Bachmann and her husband Dr. Marcus Bachmann does indeed try to "pray away the gay."

The Nation reported last week that Andrew Ramirez's mother took him to the clinic in 2004 at the age of 17 because he said he was gay.

"[One counselor's] path for my therapy would be to read the Bible, pray to God that I would no longer be gay," Ramirez said. "And God would forgive me if I were straight."

Undercover video from the pro-gay group Truth Wins Out provided further evidence that the Bachmann clinic practices gay-to-straight therapy.

John Becker, who visited the clinic with two hidden cameras, was told that he could be completely free of his homosexual urges.

"You're in the midst of a storm, in the midst of a battle," a therapist explained. "I think it's possible to be totally free of them."

"The truth is God, God as designed our eyes to be attracted to the woman's, to the woman's body, to be attracted to, you know, everything. You know, to be attracted to her breasts," he added.

"He seemed to believe genuinely in his heart of hearts that, somehow, my homosexuality could be cured and could be eliminated," Becker told ABC News.

The American Psychological Association has said that there is no evidence that therapy can change sexual orientation.

(CNN)-Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann may have announced her bid for the 2012 GOP nomination for president well into the second fundraising quarter, but she still managed to outpace competitors.

Bachmann will report $4.2 million in contributions to the Federal Election Commission for the second quarter, according to a Friday release. Reports for the second quarter were due to be filed Friday.

Almost half the amount to be reported by Bachmann, $2 million dollars, was transferred from her congressional account. The rest was raised in more than 88,000 contributions that averaged $48.00 each. Funds raised for federal campaigns can be transferred from one federal account to another according to FEC guidelines. Funds raised by political action committees, or PACs, cannot be transferred to campaign coffers.

Bachmann, a tea party darling who's recently faced both acclaim and criticism, has $3.6 million in cash to spend on her presidential campaign efforts. MORE!

Getting a little "serious-er" is the GOP as we get closer to the Debt Ceiling Deadline which is Aug. 3rd not because they have come to their senses per se but their big business backers are starting to get a little worried and have been since April. From PERspectives:

I am normally an easy customer to get along with just don't be giving me any attitude cause you hate your job, yourself or you hating on me cause I'm buying some shit you can't. Remember stupid if I don't buy it you don't have a job. Pay Attention! Customer service 101: No Customers, No Business, No Job! Got it? Good!

So all this started a couple months ago with Pizza Boli's @ 5020 Sinclair Ln. next to Kimmie's carryout, who is still on my good side so far and Radioshack another store I will not spend another dime in due to piss poor customer service and lots of attitude. However, right now it's all about Pizza Boli's! That day I was craving a slice of pizza like a pregnant woman craving pickles and ice cream. I had just landed on Planet Baltimore a few weeks earlier from Jersey where they do know how to make a great pie and I wanted me a slice so I went in Pizza Boli's. I asked for a slice with sausage on it and the girl behind the counter looked at me like I was speaking gibberish. She then told me they don't have sausage, and I looked at her like she was speaking gibberish. What pizza place don't have sausage? I guess she caught the look on my face and said no sausage on slices and of course I wanted to know why and she just said they don't. Of course I was like I will pay for it, but she just repeated herself and said they don't put sausage on their slices just pepperoni. I like pepperoni too but it gives me indigestion so I didn't want any pepperoni, but I did want that slice of pizza so I caved in and paid the $2.00 bucks for a regular cheese slice and walked out. I may have muttered, "what kind of shit is that when you can't get a slice with what ya want on it?" The slice was alright but it wasn't great especially without sausage.

I thought that was really odd and it really bugged me because it is the only pizza place with-in close walking distance and since when does a pizza place not have sausage on their slices if ya want? I have seen slices with just about anything you could imagine in Jersey and even downtown Baltimore, from anchovies to zucchini, but Pizza Boli's 5020 Sinclair Ln only offers cheese and pepperoni. Other places uptown on Planet Baltimore offers slices with sausage why not Pizza Boli's? That is the only reason I want a car again so that I can get to places that will appreciate my business and not take it for granted.

I thought maybe the counter girl was having a bad day and taking it out on me, but one day I saw her walking across the parking lot and I asked her about the sausage thing and she still didn't have a satisfactory answer and although it was a strange conversation to begin with when she thought it even stranger that I would get mad about not being able to get sausage on my slice. I should have known then that I was wasting my time and any further attempts to get sausage on my slice from this particular Pizza Boli's was going to be fruitless. I remember another attempt another day to get sausage on my slice and I walked out disgusted this time actually making enough fuss to get another customer to ask me about them not giving me sausage and we both just shook our heads, but that is not why I am writing this post about them.

Yesterday I wanted pizza and tried Pizza Boli's @ 5020 Sinclair Ln again with the same results but at least I got a reason why this time and it was because the sausage is frozen and it wouldn't be properly cooked while heating up a slice. Okay while I didn't like the reason I understood. I of course left this time without buying a slice of regular old cheese pizza and walked home still wanting some pizza though. I thought okay since I can't get a slice with sausage maybe I can get the whole pizza with sausage on it and proceeded to call Pizza Boli's @ 5020 Sinclair Ln and order. From the time I called and was placed on hold I knew that this was a bad idea I should have hung up but I want what I want when I want it. When she came back on the line I detected a lot of attitude in her voice and she was acting like she couldn't hear what I was saying. I was asking what specials they had and she proceeded to tell me one medium one topping $8.99 and one large with one topping $10.99. Nothing at all special about either one of those offers, but I ended up ordering anyway. Now the whole process was getting me angrier and angrier especially because I was spending my money and this chick was giving me A LOT of attitude. After I hung up it came to me that all the attitude and pretending she couldn't hear me or understand me was an attempt to get me to say never mind and not order anyway. Okay no problem, first of all the specials sucked ass and her attitude really sucked ass so I gave her her wish called back and cancelled the order where upon she told me not to call back to her shitty pizza palor anymore in effect telling me they do not want my business. Not realizing she had already lost my business! I almost forgot to mention she also told me it would take 45 minutes to get me my pizza and they are literally 5 minutes on foot from where I live!

Her telling me not to call back is really not a problem because the pizza tastes like crap and looks the same as it tastes anyway . Not too mention that the place looks dirty along with the people that work in the place cooking the pizza. I think they are owned by some real "african americans" and while I thought it was a myth, some of them actually do treat black people like they are beneath them. Now here is where I get even angrier! At them for treating their customers like they have to eat their shitty pizza AND the customers that let them treat them that way. I know their are other people who also just want a slice of pizza with sausage on it and wonder why Pizza Boli's @ 5020 Sinclair Ln can't or rather won't serve them and settle for pepperoni or regular old cheese slices. They are wrong for not offering their customers what they want and you as the customer are wrong to keep supporting a business that doesn't give you what you want. While they are one of a few places uptown that offer slices they are not the only one.

I finally called Papa John's @ 5246 Harford Rd. and the young lady that answered the phone although she put me on hold came back on the line promptly, was not giving me attitude and they had real specials! And while they said it would take 40 minutes I think they made it in under 30. The moral of this little rant/story is I should have known better and Pizza Boli's @ 5020 Sinclair Ln has lost my business and hopefully a lot of other business of other people who are tired of their shitty attitudes and pizza. I will be contacting there main offices and relating this to them also. They cater too a predominantly black area and they treat us like they do yet we still spend our precious dollars with them. We as black people have got to demand better from these businesses. Like I said before some of these people on Planet Baltimore are real special!

FINALLY! I am not going to lie I absolutely LOVE IT when all the shit I have written and been saying for the past two years when I wasn't writing gets validated! I mean to tell ya! This is for all the people that cussed me out, called me crazy, said I was full of shit, called me a conspiracy theorist and then discounted everything else I would write because THEY were brainwashed, short sighted and would rather follow the herd than to think for themselves. To This Very Day! For all of the people I admired, called my friends and acquaintances who turned their backs on me after that last election, because I only voted for Barack because he was (half) black not because of all the slick shit he was saying that had my man Jesse Jackson crying like a baby, but not because Barack won but because Jesse was thinking it should have been him saying all that shit. You all should have known that I only voted for the brother because of the delicious irony of a black man being the HNIC of the most racist place on the planet. Nothing Else! I will admit I got caught up a few times and even then I still voiced my concerns and doubts, but I wanted to believe. However those doubts still overrode the feel good speeches he was giving. I knew he was retuglican lite like $Bill Clinton and would serve his corporate masters well!

I can remember it like yesterday when I commented on a post over at Multiply as to why I thought it was absolutely absurd that Obama should have gotten the Nobel Peace Prize and I was viciously attacked, ridiculed and ultimately decided that the sheeple were on their own and stopped writing. I played it off at the time but it really hurt considering I had been validated a few times before. For example about the apologies for slavery that although the federal government never professed it there were a few states that did. I mean unless your counting the ultimate profession electing Obama to office but remember he is half white and part of the American elite. Check his bloodlines! Sorry to tell you this but lil Tyrone, Pepe or Billy Bob can NOT be president even if he does speak eloquently.

I knew this day would come just like the truth about all of the rest of the lies THEY have told. I blogged about the secret societies and told you all who was really ruling the world and about how they both democrats and rethuglicans were all the same, how the Democratic party always played the lesser of two evils and reminded everyone that It Was Still Evil nonetheless. Old, Numb & Full Of Conservative Dumb

This picture above is your Senate my fellow citizens. The average age of a US senator in 2008 was 62. There are 11 Senators over the age 75 and 26 who are at least 70 years old. The profile for the average Senator is rich, white and supposedly more educated than most. That last part about being educated I really have a lot of doubt about seeing some of the latest laws and decisions they have made but for arguments sake lets just say its true. Is it any wonder that they are so vehemently opposed to tax hikes and the rescinding of those enormous tax breaks for the 1% of the richest Americans and corporations for that matter? You hear them on the news crying about a class war they are winning handily. OMG just think how they would feel if they really had to pay their fair share! You poor well not so poor guys! They would rather let the country go broke than to even think about new taxes. Apparently this is only when a Democrat is in the Whitehouse though. From PERRspectives:

I don't know about you but I am sick of all the "politricks". I love #4 about how the republicans voted 7 (seven) times to raise the debt ceiling for George "the decider" Bush. I would also have to mention #10. America was involved in two simultaneous wars and a lot of covert actions supposedly aimed at keeping America safe from terrorism, spent trillions which 3 trillion is still unpaid, and for some reason I still don't feel as safe as I did since never. Remember before the "War on Terror" coming to DVD and BluRay soon, I had to live through the"Cold War" where I was constantly worried about someone bombing us back to the Ice Age and Nuclear Winter.

I do know of a way to get these old rich white guys attention though and while it's not that hard for most Americans, some of the "1% wannabes" might have a little trouble with it but it is a "no spend nothing day". We do not even have to do it for an entire day, maybe just 3-4 hours I bet them Senators and their corporate masters will notice then. I did say that most Americans will have no trouble with a "no spend nothing day" because they really have nothing to spend anyway, but the corporate machine is strong and they have a lot of the citizenry hypnotized by their slick ass psychological advertising and people are convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt they cannot live with out the latest pad, phone or pill. However, if the republicans "no new taxes" blackmail scheme fails and that would take the democrats getting a spine and not giving in, default would be a big problem for old, rich white guys too. See item #1. At least my way would only last for a few hours or until they fixed the problem. Or we could take door number 2 the republican gamble that could have ramifications for decades. Can you say Great(er) Depression?!

Manic Mondays - Why Do We Cheat?

Here We Go Again! That was one of my favorite little sayings until that beer company hijacked it. Oh well still kind of appropriate for this post.

I was over at my newest favorite social media site (still not facebook) and someone asked a question, "Why Do Men and Women Cheat?" I am glad the original poster of said question included women too because most times its all the mans fault and the question is usually "Why Do Men Cheat?", but us men gotta cheat with someone cause not all of us are gay. However, all you have to do is check out "Jerry Springer" or an episode of "Cheaters" to realize a LOT of people cheat even the gays. It doesn't matter if your filthy rich or profoundly poor, what culture you claim, whether your a democrat or republican, young or old. It's happened, it happens, it's happening and it doesn't look like it will never stop. Just like the constant question "WHY?". You might as well be asking, "Why are we here?" or "Which came first the egg or some animal that eventually evolved into the modern day chicken?" (there's a hint there).

There are as many reasons as there are people and I want to examine some of those reasons. The first reason I always think of when this question pops up is nature. Part of the reason we are here is to propagate the species, being fruitful and multiplying. We naturally seek out what we perceive as the best mate that we believe will produce the best offspring, but apparently our perceptions really suck, or is it really in our nature to be in lifelong relationships with one individual?

Before marriage was made into the institution it has become it was thought our early ancestors lived in groups sort of like animals for example like a wolf pack, where there were a few dominant males who shared a group of desirable females and the children. As time went on and we evolved from the hunter gathers to a more agrarian society or farmers for short, the trend of needing to know who's kid was who's was more important. I am thinking that it was for the purposes of carrying on certain traits, strengths and traditions. In other words if Ogg was a great hunter but the son Ogg claimed was a little feminine it might not have been his son. Plus Ogg might have wanted to leave his land that he farmed after he stopped hunting to his legitimate offspring and there was no sure way back then of knowing which kid was actually Oggs. Kronk might have slept with Loki right before Ogg and it might have been Kronks son or daughter. Today we have "Maury" for that, but back then all they had to go on was traits and looks.

The earliest recorded history of the one woman for a man trend was back in Mesopotamia about 2350. Before that was One Million Years BC with Loana (played by Raquel Welch) and Tumak (played by John Richardson) I actually thought Tumak was Charlton Heston for the longest time but I was wrong. Anyway, what we have to recognize is those relationships had very little to do with love or whether or not we wanted to be with each other or not. Early on it was a way to make sure a mans kids were legitimately his. Ancient African and Hebrew's could have many wives and them nasty ass Greeks and Romans could have concubines, prostitutes and even teenage boys to satisfy their sexual urges. Over the next few thousand years religion evolved Christianity in particular and marriage became an institution, still nothing like we have now but it was a little better for the female. Christianity taught men to treat their wives better and forbid them from divorcing but that did not stop men from doing what they did. And even after religion came into the picture love still hadn't entered into the marriage equation, most marriages were arranged for practical reasons, to stop wars and to keep the royal bloodlines pure. Now I am sure some of the arrangements over time became romantic and there was a mutual love and respect for each other but love didn't figure prominently until the middle ages as far as white folks go. I personally do not believe it took Christianity to teach men because a lot of ancient cultures already revered their women and they were spiritual teachers and priests. I won't go into a lot of history here, I suggest the Metu Neter for further reading and better understanding, but in ancient African and even Sub Saharan Indian cultures the female was empowered and played major roles in the history and cultures of these ancient civilizations of course until Christianity came along. Even when love actually entered the picture, and I will go back as far as King Arthur and Sir Lancelot, there was cheating as Lancelot had an affair with Queen Guinevere.

As animal lust evolved into love women's roles were no longer just to serve the man in fact it was now the man's role to serve the woman he wanted to have or "loved". However, for centuries men were still considered owners of their wives. Even when the first settlers came to America -when polygamy, having multiple wives was still an accepted practice- the husbands ownership was recognized by a legal doctrine called coverture absorbing the wives identity into his. That is the reason women give up their last names until today. Now part of that is tradition but until women were given the right to vote back in the 1920's they were still not considered citizens, they were just one rung up the ladder from black people. After women gained rights marriage changed dramatically, now the union was between two equal citizens. So the whole concept of a private relationship for the fulfillment of two equal individuals is still fairly new maybe 90 years as opposed to the previous 5000. In other words both men and women have had to learn and teach each other what a relationship should be. But love and sex are not the same thing and we constantly confuse the two and while we as humans need both again I have to stress they are not mutual.

So along comes this guy named Maslow and he comes up with this theory of needs , which is illustrated in the following diagram and they are all part of evolution this time however a mental evolution where the goal is self actualization which is a beautiful place to be...

As you can see we have basic needs that have to be met which is on the lower end of the scale. Not meeting these basic needs can and will result in death, you can do without them for a while but they have to be met eventually. Sex is one of those basic needs. As we travel up the scale we come to love and surely that is the goal to evolve as humans to reach the top of the scale but not everyone makes it to the top of the scale as you can plainly see in your daily interactions with people. A lot of us get stuck in the lower level of the scale and surely this attributes to the reason we cheat. A big part of this is the misunderstanding that love and sex are not the same thing. For example and you can check Masters and Johnson on this, but most people can have sex with multiple partners and love never enters their minds. They are just satisfying a need. And then there are others that claim to love one person exclusively but still can have sex with multiple partners. Rationalizing that it's just sex. However, this is where societal pressures kick in. Things like religious teachings, what others think of us, which is another step in the hierarchical of needs, gender stereotypes, body images and a basic misunderstanding of what love really is. So as we move up the scale or evolve this becomes a real challenge because while love becomes a real need to move on we still have to deal with our basic needs, you know the needs that if they are not met we could very well die from not meeting them. Now I am not saying that we have to have sex, personally I can go months without sex, but I am not that pleasant to deal with. As are most people that don't get some every now and then. And on a serious note going without one of our basic needs has to throw our balance off ie; I am not a good person to deal with after three months of no sex and in extreme cases this could possibly lead to rape and other dysfunctional behavior. I guess one could argue that if we just evolve beyond our basic needs we could eliminate cheating. Oh if it was really just that easy!

I would risk a guess we have to consider the individual, how they were raised and how they deal with societal pressures. When we do evolve, we change and sometimes that change involves not feeling the same way about the person that we fell in love with or in a relationship with. It used to be men cheated for purely physical reasons and women cheated because they were unhappy but that has gone out the window. Now in 2000 just as many women cheat as men for purely physical reasons or to meet needs and men are falling in love with the "other woman". Welcome to equality folks! But don't take my word for it check this out...

The reasons we cheat are more complex than you may think, and the motivations are vastly different for each person.

Emotional Needs Not Met

When one partner feels lonely, misunderstood, ignored or emotionally "uncared" for by their mate, the stage is set for infidelity. It's cases like these where the person will seek to have their emotional needs met by talking with friends and coworkers, perhaps even confiding in them about their relationship problems.

If a physical attraction exists between the person and the new confidante, it could lead to first flirting and then all-out cheating.

Physical Needs Not Met

Similar to emotional needs, if a person isn't satisfied by their partner physically, they may seek this out from another person. This could be done consciously or unconsciously, but a person who feels isolated physically will often be drawn to someone who shows them affection and physical attention, which could lead to infidelity.

A relationship that's in constant turmoil grows an environment ripe for cheating.

Constant Conflict Within the Relationship

If the relationship is plagued with problems - -these could be related to finances, different values, in-laws, career, location, etc. -- a person may seek refuge in the arms of someone else. This may be done as a way to escape from the conflicts at hand, or a person may cheat to make themselves feel better about the conflict (for instance, a man who loses his job and feels unable to provide for his family who has an affair with a younger woman, which makes him feel a sense of accomplishment and self-worth).

One Person Just Wants Excitement and Attention

Sometimes couples get stuck in the routine of everyday life so severely that it leads one partner to stray. It may be a mid-life crisis of sorts, a way to recapture youth or just a strong feeling of wanting some excitement (for some, an affair can add excitement just for the very fact that it is "forbidden).

Along these lines, a person may cheat to feel they're desirable to another person (not just to their mate). When a person cheats for this reason, it's often to enhance their own self-esteem -- and, "There is nothing like a flirtation to restore a sense of self-esteem," says Sheppard, "But sometimes that flirtation gets taken to far."

Empowerment

There are those out there who simply believe they are entitled to more than one intimate partner. Perhaps they are following "traditions" set up by their family, in which one parent was overly flirtatious or cheated, or they may just do it because they feel they can.

To End a Relationship

A person who is unhappy in a relationship may cheat as a way out. They may do so hoping to get caught, and therefore thrown out of the relationship, or they may be seeking to find a new mate and start a new relationship before letting go of the former, unhappy one. Says Lonnie Barbach, PhD, co-author of Going the Distance: Finding and Keeping Lifelong Love, of this type of cheating, "[It's] different from the person who cheats while maintaining the dating relationship--this person is much more likely to cheat during marriage." Personally I still think it has a lot to do with how we are wired as animals and the fact that we are only in our 92nd year of looking at this from both perspectives equally. We also have just begun to break the habits of almost 5000 years of mental conditioning. Like I stated earlier there really isn't a definitive answer and there are as many "reasons" as there are people and until we all evolve up the hierarchy of needs, realize that sex and love are not exclusive and get a better understanding of love, which is loving all people equally, or come to a universal mindset we are gonna cheat.

Hear are a couple of things to ponder as you try to find the answer that works best for you, "No animal is 100% exclusive 100% of the time" and from a mans perspective, "We men never really grow up, we give in!"

"The Weekly (C)Wrap-Up - Been Such A Long Time"

I used to write a post every Friday called the Weekly (C)Wrap-Up and I would add some cutesy title behind it highlighting the biggest story that caught my attention during the week then I would decide which person that made the (C)Wrap-Up was the worst person of the week, but when I stopped writing about 2 years ago I also stopped watching the news and reading the blogs and basically said fuck it all! So I am really lacking about what's really going on in the world and I apologize for that. I have forgiven myself and I hope you guys can forgive me and we can try to get this thing started again! This post every week was my signature piece and I really missed writing it and I want to get back to writing it but I have to get back into the daily bump and grind and so far I haven't had the stomach for it however, I did watch a bit of the Anthony trial if that counts? Again I haven't been as vigilant as I used to be so bear with me as I try to make some order out of all the chaos!

I put that space shuttle pic in there cause its cool and it is historic because it is the last one at least funded by my tax dollars and now I will never get to ride in it! Remember the space program started back in 1962 almost 50 years and what has it really produced?!

Okay so she got away with murder same with OJ and just like OJ she is going to say or do something that is going to put her back in jail or worse Karma's pimp hand is going to come down real hard on her ass! However, she as with OJ was judged by a jury of her peers and was acquitted! She went through the legal system just like you or me and got off! I know everyone is mad and disappointed but like with the OJ trial as with this one we have to put the blame where it belongs...The jury of course! No just joking. The blame sits clearly with the prosecution...From the LA Times :

While we are talking court and justice lets talk about the Supremes, no not Diana and 'nem but the other Supremes in the robes that make the laws. Now there were two significant rulings out there a couple of weeks ago that I just have to chime in about! Okay here is the deal; First I will give the obligatory nod to free speech and blah blah blah. Yes the games should be protected no matter how gory and bloody they are you have the right not to buy them just as much as the game makers have the right to make and sell them. What I think is being glossed over is the fact that it is also a big nod for good old fashioned parenting. It is not the governments job nor should it be even more added to my tax burden to raise your bad ass kids! If you do not want them to play these games start paying more attention to what they are buying and or renting and playing in your house. Yes some of those games are terrible, I was watching the Daily Show and Jon Stewart was showing a video of some girl being ripped in half but you as parents can put a stop to that. Monitor your kids purchases and do not buy any game without doing some homework of your own. Remember those violent ass cartoons we used to watch? Tom and Jerry and the ultimate Bugs Bunny, Wile Coyote, Elmer Fudd, Daffy Duck (the black duck) and Yosemite Sam! I swear I heard him cuss a couple of times! So another even more accessible avenue where parents should be more vigilant is TV. Lets look at some stats:

What about TV and aggressive or violent behavior?
Literally thousands of studies since the 1950s have asked whether there is a link between exposure to media violence and violent behavior. All but 18 have answered, "Yes." The evidence from the research is overwhelming. According to the AAP, "Extensive research evidence indicates that media violence can contribute to aggressive behavior, desensitization to violence, nightmares, and fear of being harmed." [14 ] Watching violent shows is also linked with having less empathy toward others [14a].
An average American child will see 200,000 violent acts and 16,000 murders on TV by age 18 [15].
Two-thirds of all programming contains violence [16].
Programs designed for children more often contain violence than adult TV [17].
Most violent acts go unpunished on TV and are often accompanied by humor. The consequences of human suffering and loss are rarely depicted.
Many shows glamorize violence. TV often promotes violent acts as a fun and effective way to get what you want, without consequences [18].
Even in G-rated, animated movies and DVDs, violence is common—often as a way for the good characters to solve their problems. Every single U.S. animated feature film produced between 1937 and 1999 contained violence, and the amount of violence with intent to injure has increased over the years [19].
Even "good guys" beating up "bad guys" gives a message that violence is normal and okay. Many children will try to be like their "good guy" heroes in their play.
Children imitate the violence they see on TV. Children under age eight cannot tell the difference between reality and fantasy, making them more vulnerable to learning from and adopting as reality the violence they see on TV [20].
Repeated exposure to TV violence makes children less sensitive toward its effects on victims and the human suffering it causes.

Viewing TV violence reduces inhibitions and leads to more aggressive behavior.
Watching television violence can have long-term effects:
A 15-year-long study by University of Michigan researchers found that the link between childhood TV-violence viewing and aggressive and violent behavior persists into adulthood [21].
A 17-year-long study found that teenaged boys who grew up watching more TV each day are more likely to commit acts of violence than those who watched less [22].
Even having the TV on in the home is linked to more aggressive behavior in 3-year-olds. This was regardless of the type of programming and regardless of whether the child was actually watching the TV [23]. [Source]

Now that is just TV we are not even talking about movies! If you are really concerned whether or not your raising a psychopath start with television. Okay lets move on to the Wal-Mart ruling. From Time:

The ruling on Monday in Dukes v. Wal-Mart Stores Inc. puts a halt to a class action that could ultimately have included as many as 1.5 million current and former female employees of Walmart. It also weakens Rule 23, the federal procedural regulation that allows plaintiffs to join together to file class actions.

The court ruled on two issues in the case: back-pay rules and class-action standards. The Justices were unanimous in ruling that the women were not eligible for back pay, but split 5-4 — along the court's now predictable conservative-liberal lines — on the more far-reaching class-action question. The 5-4 ruling against the employees was at odds with two lower federal courts, which had approved of the class action.

The Walmart women had put forward a classic case of sex discrimination. They noted that women fill 70% of the hourly jobs at the company but make up only 33% of the managers. They also introduced evidence of serious mistreatment, like their contention that senior managers often refer to female associates as "little Janie Qs." From the end of the recession in June 2009 through May 2011, men gained 768,000 jobs and lowered their unemployment rate by 1.1 percentage points to 9.5%.1 Women, by contrast, lost 218,000 jobs during the same period, and their unemployment rate increased by 0.2 percentage points to 8.5%, according to a new Pew Research Center analysis of Bureau of Labor Statistics data. And the hits just keep on coming ladies! Now I didn't know much about Betty Ford for a long time other than her name being on that clinic in California back in the day. I just thought she was being a presidents wife and doing something good for the nation by opening up clinics for alcoholics. I learned that she herself had struggles with Alcohol and prescription drugs. From USA Today:

Alcoholism was declared a disease by the American Medical Association and the American Psychiatric Association in 1955.
"The fact that Betty Ford lent her name to the center had a profound effect on the treatment of alcoholism," said Dr. James West, a medical director at the Betty Ford Center from its opening until his April 2007 retirement.
"When she made it clear that she was the head of this place and a recovering person herself, that had a very profound effect on the whole system throughout the country."
Ford embraced the 12-step Alcoholics Anonymous program while being treated at the Long Beach Naval Hospital's Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Service in 1978.
The Navy pioneered alcohol and drug treatment when it discovered its sailors were abusing drugs during the Vietnam War. More!

Okay lets move on. I gotta blog about this guy in Michigan because it also relates to all the abuse and bad luck the ladies have been having here recently. So this guy goes on a rampage and starts hunting old girlfriends and baby mommas then the coward kills himself. From the Detroit Free Press:

GRAND RAPIDS -- Before he, in the words of Grand Rapids Police Chief Kevin Belk, "went out hunting down ex-girlfriends" Thursday and became a mass murderer, 34-year-old Roderick S. Dantzler had a long history of temper, violence and assaults on women.
His mother kicked him out of the house at 18 for serial abuse and got a court-issued restraining order to keep him out. In 1997, he went into a violent rage against his 17-year-old girlfriend, then five months pregnant with his child.
Yet Victoria Dantzler appeard not to have lost hope. When he was sentenced to prison for firing five shots at a stranger a few years later, she asked the judge for leniency, calling him "affectionate and free-hearted ... never quick to start a fight."
Thursday afternoon, she had to call Grand Rapids police and tell them her son told her that he had killed another former girlfriend. Within hours, authorities realized Dantzler had killed six more people, including another ex-girlfriend and his own 12-year-old daughter. In a rampage and police chase that rocketed around the city before ending in a hostage-taking and Dantzler's eventual suicide, he shot two more people, including another ex-girlfriend. She survived. I love this quote from his momma 5 years after she had put him out cause he scared her about him being "affectionate and free-hearted ... never quick to start a fight." Yeah maybe not quick to start a fight but quick to kill someone! I also have a problem with guys like this that end up shooting themselves! If you a killer I expect you to go out like Scarface guns blazing but that's just my bullshit. Ahhh so much stuff so little time!

I don't know about you but I am so glad they are ending this space shuttle program. All that money and they have really nothing to show for it! By now I expected them to have colonies on the moon and us doing interstellar space flight. All that money WE spent in taxes and NONE of US will ever get to travel in the Space Shuttle! Good riddance! Personally I think the whole thing has been a big hoax since the very beginning. We supposedly went to the moon 6 times between 1969 and 1972 however, scientists say it will take another 15 years to get back. With all the advances in technology since then? Not too mention no stars in the pictures! Where are all the thousands of stars that should be in the pics from the moon?! Okay so that is more of my BS (belief systems) too!

And we have not even gotten to all the stuff our government has been doing while we were all engrossed in the Casey Anthony trial but thinking about radiation belts and the like has worn me down...Next weeks (C)Wrap-Up will be much better I promise!

Caffeine Addiction

For those who do not think caffeine is a drug I am here to tell you you are deluding yourself! Now as a person who has struggled with addiction and overindulgence all his life I am not just talking out my ass on this one. Granted I am not saying this is worse than dope, cocaine or chocolate but it is definitely nothing to play with.

Tuesday was supposed to be my big day and I was going to quit drinking/consuming caffeine altogether and I made it through the day Wednesday although it was painful. I had a migraine that would not let me sleep, would not let me keep my head up or write anything. My head hurt so bad Wednesday I was tempted to drill a hole on my head to release the pressure. I will be the first to admit I am a bit of a punk when it comes to pain. However, this particular day I was going to man up and take the pain that I knew was coming as this is not the first time I have tried to kick the habit. The other times was not so much from trying but more from running out of money to get my fix but I had been noticing the "side effects" of this habit of mine. The reason I wanted to break the cycle in the first place is that I was noticing that when I drank a lot of soda, my primary source of caffeine Mountain Dew in particular, I was getting bloated and looking fat and stank. My food intake has decreased however I was still getting bigger bout the gut so it had to be the soda, of course I am not going to mention the cookies and the candy cause they don't count in the caffeine equation, well maybe the chocolate in the cookies and candy but I will get back to that. I was looking rather slim and trim when I finally woke up after tossing and turning most of the day Wednesday as opposed to bloated just a day before and today. Yeah I caved in, but more on that later also.

The problem came in when I finally tried to lay down Wednesday night. The headache started anew. Now it could have been the effects of too much vodka but it felt like the same migraine I had been dealing with most of the day Wednesday just in case it was just the vodka I popped a 500mg Motrin and about an hour afterwards I finally passed out. When I came too this morning I still had a bit of a headache and I assumed it was from the caffeine as I did have some tin roof sundae ice cream. Did I mention I am lactose intolerant? I know I am a glutton for punishment but the pain makes me feel alive. That is my story and I am sticking with it!

The reason I love caffeine is probably like most people who say they don't function until they have their daily dose of caffeine. I am the same way I need that jolt to get my day started and I cannot think properly until I do. That is why all day Wednesday I was lethargic, moving kinda slow, and couldn't write although I went ahead and did a little research about my new addiction. I found a great site called MedicineNet.com in particular the Caffeine Withdrawal Symptoms, Treatment, Overdose, Health Effects, Facts and Addictions page. I am drinking well over 3 cups of this shit per day most times it is 6 to 8, not including the chocolate candy intake which on some days I really do not want to even think about. I have greatly cut my chocolate consumption but some days I do binge a little. According to the chart my 6 cups of Mountain Dew equals about 2592-3408mg of caffeine per day. The average is about 280mg a day. So far today I am at 3 cups that is about 1296-1704mg a day. Yes I couldn't take the pounding headaches anymore and I was tired of not writing. I need to keep writing because I need to keep my skills fresh so I can write this epic novel that is gonna have literary students pissed at me like I was with Shakespeare. That is called foreshadowing so I had some Dew and this is the result.

As you can see I am an hopeless caffeine addict. While I am nowhere near lethal doses of caffeine 80-100 cups per day or approximately 10 grams, I am in the high dose consumption category about 400mg or more per day. So it is like with anything we consume moderation is the key. I need to drop my consumption down slowly, gradually and not completely because there are some benefits to my caffeine addiction in moderation. For example I am "diabetical" meaning diabetes runs in my family. I probably need to be sticking myself and all of that but I don't because I don't have a job with health benefits and can't go to the doctors to find out if I have to be doing that for real. All fodder for another post another day and more digression. My Bad. I mentioned the diabetes because among other things caffeine in moderation has been shown to reduce the risk of diabetes. The key again being moderation.

Okay so I was actually up and out the door this morning about 9 am...Yeah I know, wtf was I up doing at that hour...NUNYA! Anyway, I walked up to the top of the hill round my way and I ran into a gang of what I thought were hornets, "Brown Hornets" at that. There were literally hundreds of them just flying around so naturally I grabbed the camera and started recording because I have never seen any shit like that! Planet Baltimore NEVER ceases to amaze me! Check out the video...

I know they were hard to see but trust me they were there. You can hear me talking to a maintenance guy who was working in the apartment complex where I now reside and he didn't know what they were or what they were doing either. You can hear in the video that I thought they were mating, of course I wasn't as eloquent then and said fucking but that was what they were doing! It was kind of unreal and I thought typical of Planet Baltimore especially because the indigenous people of said planet was going on about their business like they didn't even see them. I mentioned that in the video also which brings me to the point of doing this post. If you read my comeback post from yesterday you might remember how I said I no longer discount folks feelings outright because I have been having some feelings of my own which had really come to a head since I have been back on Planet Baltimore dealing with the indigenous peoples of said planet. Now don't get me wrong I love Planet Baltimore I have lived here for damn near 20 years went away and couldn't wait to get back, met a lot of good people who were willing to help me out without question, but it is the majority of the people I can do without.

I know I have said this a time or two before but some of the people here have taking hating to a whole 'notha level. They might be in a running gun battle with each other one minute but will team up with each other the next against anyone they perceive as an outsider in a heartbeat, especially if you are trying to effect change or don't feel the same way they do about a particular subject. For example if you don't know this is the home of the "Stop Snitching" videos that got Carmelo Anthony in a lil trouble a few years back. I can remember being in the barbershop a few years ago and the conversation was about those same videos and of course I chimed in to set the record straight about snitching and protecting yourself from dumb shit which is really simple.

If you and them are doing a crime and one of you gets caught and the other tells that is snitching! If I as an outsider to the crime spree sees you and them breaking into someones home and tells on your stupid ass it is protecting myself from dumb shit because if you or them get away with it that time who is to say you won't be breaking into my home the next time. Now if you or them give me some profits of said crime and then I tell then I am snitching. See...Simple! Wordy but simple to understand nonetheless. Of course after that explanation I am considered the worst person in the barbershop. No one considered that it could be their mothers, sisters or brothers house and they would want to know who the hell it was if it was them. Now I don't just say this to make some point this is real life shit...Dig!

Not once but twice on Planet Baltimore. Now granted this is a police issue after these people put themselves out there to try and protect themselves, their property and their families. After trying to be good citizens and help the police who are constantly talking about how the citizens have to get involved in community policing and helping to stop crime in their own neighborhoods then leave them out there to fend for themselves! I can understand why no one wants to talk to the gang in blue. You make your own mess! I myself have called the police at my job about people loitering outside of the store where I once worked, told them I don't need follow up and the police busting up in the store and announcing that they were taking care of the problem that we called about. But I am digressing and making this about them instead of me and my feelings.

So I had been feeling some kind of way because of how people were mean mugging me, walking up on me like they were going to do something to me, laughing at me, dissing me in the stores where I was spending my fucking money and me not understanding what it was about. Notice I said still taking my money! Wonderful people! Of course this shit had been bugging the hell out of me because if you know me you know I am a very good looking, likeable person (emphasis on good looking), for the most part, I mean I don't fuck with no one and keep to myself. Listening to my music on my boostberry, occasionally flirting with the ladies and shit but I am not smoking crack, robbing and mobbing! Hell I haven't had a blunt since my birthday in May and I wasn't writing anything at all so I really couldn't understand what the fuck was pissing people off so about me. Then I started thinking with the help of my man John Jameson about how when I was writing I did have a pretty good little following although my numbers were being skewed by those I was writing about, how I was internationally known, a big time political, social blogger, poet and real good friends with the Christians who I might have seemed like I was bashing, but was just trying to get them to understand that THEY are the masters of their universe and not some imaginary man in the sky, which I will be revisiting in another blog post at another time. In other words I was the shit!

However, I know the decline 2-3 years ago in readers and my blogging popularity had a lot to do with my feelings about pResident Obama and the fact that I only voted for him because he was black and that pissed of my white readers, but hey I finally had a choice of someone that looked like me and the same old white guys I always voted for, honestly flip the script, what would you have done? Or the fact that I was saying he was going to do what THEY told him to do and all that change shit was about the coming of the NWO and not about him changing how Black America would be perceived or us finally getting our 40 ounces and pit bulls that pissed of my black brethren. I know you Christians have a 1000 topics you can pick but I wasn't sodomizing them little boys, and I didn't put all that misogyny and women bashing in the Bible or Koran. You Muslims are the worse about your attitudes about women! I didn't steal from every other religion that predated Christianity by 100,000's years especially those pagan beliefs and try to sell it as the truth, or how the Jewish girl lied or any of the other shit I might have said about your precious religion which I still stand strongly behind! Religion is still mans bullshit no matter how ya spin it. And for real you Obama bama's actually thought in the Home of the Slave, Land of the Thief (for my Indian brothers, not dot Indian but slot Indians) the place where racism was fined tuned and made into a way of life was going to let some brotha actually change some shit! Ya miss me? Probably not but that's okay I missed you all and writing my conspiracy blogs and bashing my government and of course arguing with all of you. Guess I should tell you all that's been happening with me but that will have to wait until next time. Needless to say a lot has changed since I last wrote anything here but the more things change the more things stay the same. While I have calmed a little bit I still detest dumbshit, still not afraid to be the only one to resist, still get all up in your chest and to get to the truth I will never ever rest. However, today I realize these are my opinions albeit well thought out, logical and researched opinions they are just that and we all have them like the saying goes "Opinions are like assholes and lord knows this country is full of those"... oh wait...that is one of mine, but I am sure you have heard it.

I no longer care if you don't like my opinion nor am I here to try and make you change yours like I was determined to do a few years ago. Imma still argue mine but not to the death like before. I am no longer concerned with how I am perceived like I was before, I am who I am and my experiences have shaped and molded me and my opinions. I still believe strongly that experience trumps book learning and feelings, but I no longer discount your feelings as much because I have been dealing with a few feelings of my own these past two years.

Now since it has been two years I need to build my stamina back up, and work on this slowly, because I still go from 0-60 in seconds and that is what contributed to my last crash and burn session and I do not want to be gone another two years in a matter of months. Maybe tomorrow I will tell you about my journey to Philly and back to Planet Baltimore and the reasons for the journey, but then again I don't want to piss too many people off right out the gate....naaaaah who am I kidding I LOVE causing folks cognitive dissonance! Redefining The Peace

When I first heard the news that President Obama had won the Nobel Peace Prize and my first reaction was "for what?!" I know he made some good speeches before he became President about a Nuclear free world and the like and he did take down the missile shields that were in Poland that had caused a flair up in the Cold War rhetoric with Russia but... Then later in the day the "Committee" came out with their reasons for giving him the award and are as follows: “extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples,” and his speeches on Nuclear Proliferation. Not that he has reduced any missile caches nor has he talked any other country into reducing their missile caches, and he is still presiding over 2.5 wars.

To me it sounded as if the Nobel Committee was giving this "honor" to President Obama in hopes that he accomplishes peace and the simple fact that he is not George Bush. He is not going around "selling wolf tickets" and threatening and bullying other countries. However, other than the diplomatic sweet talk from this President there has been no reversal of US foreign policy what so ever. In fact the President is making plans to increase troop involvement in Afghanistan...

In a speech delivered Monday to the annual convention of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) in Arizona, President Barack Obama promised to intensify the US military engagement in Afghanistan and Pakistan, wind down the war in Iraq, and create a new military that would be better-equipped to wage unconventional warfare.

It's the last part of that sentence that really worries me. Now here we are talking about a man that has just been given the Peace Prize for diplomacy and a couple of months before he was talking about more war and planning for future unconventional war(s). How does the "Peace" fit into all of this? Could this be some politicization coming from the Nobel Committee? Or even more nefarious a global propaganda campaign?

Let me explain...All this award does is legitimize what he is doing, not what he is saying. Peace does not come from War. However, 40k to 60k Us troops and Allied Forces are being sent to Afghanistan under the banner of peace. The day before the committee made it's decision Congress granted a 680 Billion dollar defense authorization bill...

"Washington and its NATO allies are planning an unprecedented increase of troops for the war in Afghanistan, even in addition to the 17,000 new American and several thousand NATO forces that have been committed to the war so far this year".

The number, based on as yet unsubstantiated reports of what U.S. and NATO commander Stanley McChrystal and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Michael Mullen have demanded of the White House, range from 10,000 to 45,000.

Fox News has cited figures as high as 45,000 more American soldiers and ABC News as many as 40,000. On September 15 the Christian Science Monitor wrote of "perhaps as many as 45,000."

So the day before the award he get's this massive bill passed without a peep of it in our "liberal media" or if it was mentioned it was hidden in all of the talk about "killing weapon's programs" with Senator McCain and the big C17 cargo plane.

As soon as it was announced that President Obama had won the award he convened his Afghan "Peace" council and went to work making plans to escalate the "peace" in Afghanistan...

"The president had a robust conversation about the security and political challenges in Afghanistan and the options for building a strategic approach going forward," according to an administration official (quoted in AFP: After Nobel nod, Obama convenes Afghan war council October 9, 2009)

This award serves to put a popular face on an illegitimate war and occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan and the relentless killing of civilians worldwide. To take further away from war detractors and fool some of the people into thinking that because he not George Bush, he makes great speeches about what he is going to do (although doing the opposite) and that he has raised the appearence of our standing in the world that somehow all this war is peace...

Should we bail out the Big 3 Automakers?!? If we don't we lose more jobs in a trickle down spiral sort of way because the automakers also help the parts makers, parts suppliers and a host of other folks down the line who will be affected, or should we let the market correct itself. If we do bail them out, like we did before, think Chrysler and how they continued to cow-tow to big oil and squash innovation and bury patents, we will be right back here in another few years bailing them out again. I bet their basement vaults are full of great designs of really innovative cars and the like. GM killed the electric car! It is a tough one but you make the call...My personal feelings are thus...Since I am a big free market type of guy ha! I say fuck em all and let chapter 11 sort em out!

I don't know about the rest of y'all but for me the party is over! I am thrilled that I played my part in helping Barack get elected and we should be proud but the main thing we should take from all of this is the lesson that WE The People, unified, CAN change the world.

I noticed around the blogosphere and here at The 'PLY that a lot of people are taking a wait an see attitude and that is understandable but it will take the same effort and hard work it took to get him elected as it will to make the changes he has proposed work.

There are a lot of folks, mostly bitter rethug loser types that are constantly asking "What is change!?" Here ya go...

James Brett is an Englishman who, in 1999 while on a business trip to Peshawar in the north west province of Pakistan, had his first glass of pomegranate juice, and fell in love with it. He founded the first pomegranate juice drink in the UK, Pomegreat (.pdf). Further research led him to Afghanistan, where the best pomegranates in the world are grown, particularly in the Kandahar region. A recovering substance abuser, Brett was also aware that Afghanistan was a major producer of heroin.
In 2007, Brett was invited to Kabul to talk to farmers from various regions of Afghanistan about growing pomegranates. He flew to Peshawar and drove through the Khyber Pass heading to Kabul While driving through the Nangarhar Province, he noticed a farmer in a field of opium poppies. After the seminar in Kabul, Brett bought a large piece of card and a blue marker pen, and wrote 'Pomegranate is the Answer'. On his return drive back to Peshawar, he saw the same farmer again in the field, jumped out of the car and ran toward the farmer with his makeshift sign. His horrified translator chased after this mad ginger-haired Brit, yelling, 'Don't go in there, you could be shot!' Undetered, Brett talked to the bewildered farmer through his translator, about the farmer's life, his family, his children, how he lived and why he grew opium, about Brett's own addiction to drugs. Brett explained that pomegranate was not only the best option as an alternative crop to opium poppies, but was the only feasible one for the Afghan climate and growing conditions, and promised to return to the farmer's land a couple months later with pomegranate saplings. He went home and set up a charity called Pom354.

Brett followed through on his promise, returning a few months laster to find the farmer had discussed this idea with sixteen other families with land around his own; all of them wanted to become involved. From there, the plan snowballed – in January, 2008, Afghanistan Television interviewed him, and other farmers asked him for help in changing their fields from poppies to pomegranates. The local member of Parliament and a respected Elder in the Tribal system wanted to know more. A tribal meeting covering the entire Nangarhar Province was called, and 200 Tribal elders invited.

The tribal elders agreed to finish poppy cultivation and switch to growing pomegranates throughout the entire Nangarhar Province by next year, making the region of 1.3 million inhabitants opium poppy free for the first time in a hundred years. The elders told Brett that their decision was based not only on a desire to maintain a level of stability, but because he was the first person who had ever come to them as just an ordinary man rather than a member of a foreign government or a military advisor, someone who simply wanted to see positive change. The tribal elders and Brett then conducted the official opening ceremony in that first farmer's field, now cleared of poppies, and planted the first pomegranate tree sapling. A national meeting is now being planned to expand the pomegranate industry throughout Afghanistan, with the broad support of the Afghani tribal elders as well as the government. I mean deep down I still believe in this being the greatest country in the world and all of that crap but the reality of it is still rooted in insanity. It will never really matter who is the puppet of New America, because the same old things are bound to happen because whoever ascends to the throne is still going to be controlled by the systems. Until we destroy all this old BS (belief systems) that these men try to maintain and brainwash you into maintaining these outdated, feudal systems we the people are always going to be the ones that suffer.

The incumbent Administration has distinguished itself for the ages. The Presidency of George W. Bush is the worst since Reconstruction, so there is no mystery about why the Republican Party—which has held dominion over the executive branch of the federal government for the past eight years and the legislative branch for most of that time—has little desire to defend its record, domestic or foreign. The only speaker at the Convention in St. Paul who uttered more than a sentence or two in support of the President was his wife, Laura. Meanwhile, the nominee, John McCain, played the part of a vaudeville illusionist, asking to be regarded as an apostle of change after years of embracing the essentials of the Bush agenda with ever-increasing ardor.

The Republican disaster begins at home. Even before taking into account whatever fantastically expensive plan eventually emerges to help rescue the financial system from Wall Street’s long-running pyramid schemes, the economic and fiscal picture is bleak. During the Bush Administration, the national debt, now approaching ten trillion dollars, has nearly doubled. Next year’s federal budget is projected to run a half-trillion-dollar deficit, a precipitous fall from the seven-hundred-billion-dollar surplus that was projected when Bill Clinton left office. Private-sector job creation has been a sixth of what it was under President Clinton. Five million people have fallen into poverty. The number of Americans without health insurance has grown by seven million, while average premiums have nearly doubled. Meanwhile, the principal domestic achievement of the Bush Administration has been to shift the relative burden of taxation from the rich to the rest. For the top one per cent of us, the Bush tax cuts are worth, on average, about a thousand dollars a week; for the bottom fifth, about a dollar and a half. The unfairness will only increase if the painful, yet necessary, effort to rescue the credit markets ends up preventing the rescue of our health-care system, our environment, and our physical, educational, and industrial infrastructure.

At the same time, a hundred and fifty thousand American troops are in Iraq and thirty-three thousand are in Afghanistan. There is still disagreement about the wisdom of overthrowing Saddam Hussein and his horrific regime, but there is no longer the slightest doubt that the Bush Administration manipulated, bullied, and lied the American public into this war and then mismanaged its prosecution in nearly every aspect. The direct costs, besides an expenditure of more than six hundred billion dollars, have included the loss of more than four thousand Americans, the wounding of thirty thousand, the deaths of tens of thousands of Iraqis, and the displacement of four and a half million men, women, and children. Only now, after American forces have been fighting for a year longer than they did in the Second World War, is there a glimmer of hope that the conflict in Iraq has entered a stage of fragile stability.

The indirect costs, both of the war in particular and of the Administration’s unilateralist approach to foreign policy in general, have also been immense. The torture of prisoners, authorized at the highest level, has been an ethical and a public-diplomacy catastrophe. At a moment when the global environment, the global economy, and global stability all demand a transition to new sources of energy, the United States has been a global retrograde, wasteful in its consumption and heedless in its policy. Strategically and morally, the Bush Administration has squandered the American capacity to counter the example and the swagger of its rivals. China, Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and other illiberal states have concluded, each in its own way, that democratic principles and human rights need not be components of a stable, prosperous future. At recent meetings of the United Nations, emboldened despots like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran came to town sneering at our predicament and hailing the “end of the American era.” MORE!

It is a very long article but it really get's to the heart of the matter and if your still caught up in the Matrix (like I am at times) it reminds us of what's really at stake in this "election".

The mosque, Honorable Mohamed Malcolm-Farrakhan X Mosque, Mosque #22 over off of Druid Hill Avenue next to the barbershop and the North Korean nail salon, where Pookie worshiped and re-upped on his bean pies and carrot juice was raided, his girlfriend Lunesta Alize Rozerem Johnston who worked at the North Korean nail salon, was telling all of his business on the news about how Pookie was sympathetical to the Talibam, ban "or whatever the fuck" as Lunesta put it and about how she didn't get her hair did, a Pineapple soda, some Butter Crunch cookies and some Huggies for lil' Pookie.

Pookie had finally gotten out of jail for his part in the bootleg bean pie scam that was ravaging the Nation of Islam at the time but while he was on lock down he found out he had sugar diabetes from eating all them dam sweet ass bean pies and drinking Rock Creek Coconut sodas and would lose his feet's if he didn't take them dam insulin shots...Pookie thought to himself out loud, "damn no more pork and now no bean pies!" "What I'm gonna dooooo!"

We open episode 2 with Pookie 'splainin' to his boy's what happened after they all ran and left his ass in the Mosque praying when the raid went down...

The rest of the Brother's knew Ray-Ray was dyslexic but they still let him edit the newsletter. Last week the Brother's was getting clowned because Ray-Ray had them trying to sling The "FInLa Call"!

Ray-Ray couldn't hear what was going on above him because he was listening too his mypod, a knock off Ipod you could get for $20 at lil Kim's. $24 if you wanted it to come with the bootleg movie of the week or some songs and for an extra $2.00 you could come back to lil Kim's and get new songs any time you wanted, $4 for a movie! Soy sauce is still extra! Ray-Ray was fixin' to leave when he noticed the police lights and got low. Through the front window of the Mosque, Honorable Mohamed Malcolm-Farrakhan X Mosque, Mosque #22 over off of Druid Hill Avenue next to the barbershop and the North Korean nail salon Lil Kim's, He could see Pookie hemmed up by the police and tried to call him on his cell. A few seconds later his phone rang and it was Pookie or so he thought, he answered the phone on the second ring, "as-Salamu alaikum"..."Ally akbar in come free to you too!" Ray-Ray instantly hung up the phone and went back down in the sub-basement and out through the hallway that connected the mosque to the laundry room of tower 3 of the Fallstaff projects. While Ray-Ray was coming out the building he ran into his best customer, Mrs. Januvia Evista Johnston, the reverend's wife and mother of Lunesta!

"Lawd, if the Rev. ever caught me buying bean pies and reading Final Calls he would have me ex-communicated." "Btw, you seen Pookie?!" "Tell him Lunesta is looking for him when you do and to get that baby some butter crunch cookies and huggies!" Ray-Ray told her he would and gave her some dap, said, "as-Salamu alaikum" and she responded, "wa alaikum assalam in the name of Jeezus!"

Ray-Ray was glad he ran into Mrs. Januvia because he finally got his first sales of the day, made a little change and could get the cookies, pineapple soda and the Huggies. He knew Pookie wouldn't be able to get them so he was going to. However, Ray-Ray had ulterior motives for getting the stuff for Lunesta and lil Pookie...He could be the father of lil Pookie...

I have said this before and I will say it again, "There is nothing more than I want than to see a Black Man as President of the USA, but Barack Obama is not that man!"  Now I would love to think that Barack is repeating the same lies about Iran and Georgia and has essentially the same foreign policy plan as McLame just to win the election and then start speaking the truth and ending all this war madness that the retugs and the men in the shadows keep calling for.  The part about Iran trying to acquire nuclear weapons and that they have went from 0 centrifuges to 4000 is just not true as stated in the International Atomic Energy Agency report (pdf).  The IAEA found no evidence to support that claim and further stated that any program that did exist was terminated years ago and that Iran would not be able to divert any nuclear material to weapons programs without them knowing about it.  Let's not also forget about the NIE report on Iran said basically the same thing.

So I know longer get really excited about the campaign or what Obama said, McSimpson said or did nor what question "The Iditabroad" couldn't answer because they are all on the same team.  The more I keep hearing about Barack and the company he keeps I keep getting this sinking feeling...But I am getting a little ahead of myself...The following is from Dr. Ray Nagins. It is no secret that I do not do the political thing. Of course, there are several reasons for this; the first and foremost reason being that I am no longer “in the system” for the sake of my own personal empowerment. Connected to this is the knowledge that I acquired while in military service as to the overt and covert devices used by the government to manipulate the minds of the people into making them think that something is…that is not!

It angers me (in a way that I am inadequate to describe) to see how the powers-that-be plays with the minds and emotions of my people in the areas of religion and politics. And, needless to say, today I am infuriated even more.

I am often asked by people why I don’t participate in socio-political events. When asked this I try to answer as briefly as I can because I have learned that every answer that I give creates another question. And then it goes on and on and on. So now, I simply tell people, “If you knew what I knew, then you would understand why I do what I do.”

Many people are so emotionally attached to the idea of “a Black man about to become the President of the United States” that the practice of criticism and analysis (critical thinking skills) has been completely pushed aside. What I mean by that is, people are so happy about “a Black man is about to be elected President” that they are not even looking at what or who is behind this historic event.

Now, please be sure that I am not against Obama (or McCain)! I am against the puppetmasters who SELECTED these puppets, and then put them out front to be ELECTED by a group of people who genuinely think that they have some say in the outcome of things. As I watched the Presidential debate, I couldn’t help but see the invisible strings attached to both of these men who were the stars in one of the greatest puppet shows of all time. What’s even worse is that hundreds of thousands of people (myself included) were glued to their televisions to see which puppet was going to “win the debate.”

What did it for me was when Obama charged McCain with listening to (and being influenced by) his advisor Henry Kissinger. Obama made repeated references to this! I couldn’t believe what I had just heard! Obama made it clear to everyone that Henry Kissinger was McCain’s advisor. Right on! Major points for Obama (at least with me). But, what's was up with THAT?

Well, for those who don’t know, Henry Kissinger was the head of National Security for the United States from 1969-1975. He (along with Alexander Haig) created and implemented one of the world’s greatest genocide programs called “The Haig-Kissinger Depopulation Policy.” Kissinger also committed massive war crimes against humanity and was never brought to justice for this!

But wait a minute Obama, what about YOUR advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski (who was the head of National Security for the United States from 1977-1981)? Is he any better than Kissinger? What if McCain had revealed during the debate that Obama is the protégé of Brzezinski? How many people know that Brzezinski authored and implemented National Security Council Memorandum - 46?!?!? This document was signed into LAW and literally states that the activity of Blacks in America must be suppressed through covert CIA operations in Black communities throughout America! It also states that the relations between Blacks in America and Blacks in Africa must be prevented! And what's worse is that this LAW is still in effect at this very moment!

Oh how wonderful it is...The scary voodoo crazy christian abstinence advocate's teenage daughter get's knocked up and all the other right wingnut's think this is just so wonderful and then they add fuel to the fire by forcing them to get married.

Mr. Johnston seems to have gotten some ink, hardly noticeable too...Maybe that was the trade off...Todd Palin forced him to get a tattoo of his daughter's name but Levi got to choose where he would put it...

Smart move, at least it looks easy to cover up just in case they...*gasp* God forbid don't make it...We all know how those "shotgun" weddings normally work out right?!

Now I seem to remember from watching a lot of court show's on TV that if the Judge suppresses some evidence but the defense brings it out and speaks on it then it is fair game in court. So if Caribou Barbie and McInsane Camp go with "plan b" then her and her family is back in play and fair game also!

Well if it is Friday then it is definitely time for the Weekly (C)Wrap-Up and we have had a doosey of a week! So the big news that has been leading all of the headlines this week is the government bailout bullshit. You know where they privatize the profits and socialize the losses, and we come to find out that this is nothing but a money grab, mafia style protection scheme, more corporate welfare, extortion and __________ (insert your bogus pyramid scheme here). They just pull some bogus number out of the air and have absolutely no plan, just a shit load of money and asking everyone to "trust them"! Yeah that train left the station in 2000!

The impact of this financial crisis and the bailout is touching everyone and effecting everything but let's not get crazy. First off mcSimpson wants to cancel the debates. sounds like the same move he tried when Hurricane ike was heading for Texas, this was a poorly advised campaign stunt that backfired. Let's not forget for one second that McLame is a big part of the problem and now he thinks he can fix the problems he caused when he was starring in his role as "The Dereugulator"! Let's also stop all of this madness about McPOW suspending his campaign too because he has been doing interviews, raising money and giving stump speeches all over the country. His minions have been attacking Obama non-stop! It looks like he is running scared and that is what Letterman bashed him about the other night and I think it stuck and he realized that if he didn't show for the debate that somehow he would seem afraid! I mean he is afraid especially if they talk a lot about the economy or any other relevant issue for that matter.

Here is how McLame's plan is supposed to work...He has his man Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.) hold up the process on some silly technicality, McStupid comes in and makes some minor adjustment or conceedes a minor point to the Demo-rats the proposal goes through and Mcselfish takes all the credit for brokering the deal like his campaign guy Tucker "His Insanity Knows No" Bounds tried to do yesterday. I guess he got his talking points late. Like that TV commercial where the boss sent a message to the guy not too mention the merger and he got the message too late. yeah it's like that!

Now before someone say's I am just bashing McCrazy, his own party member Huckleberry Huckabee said this...From Thinkprogress:

I am still amazed that McBush got the nomination in the first place. How the hell did that happen?! You can see the Alzheimer's setting in as this election get's closer and we still have some bobble heads claiming they are going to vote for McHalfdead and more of the same madness of the past 8 years...UNBELIEVABLE!

In his 2004 book, The Price of Loyalty, O’Neill revealed that Dick Cheney argued in a White House meeting that “deficits don’t matter.” O’Neill also said that he was disturbed that Bush was so disengaged on domestic issues.

While we are hearing a lot about the big major firms slipping and sliding around but seldom do we hear about all the little lesser known banks and corporations that are dropping like flies on a state by state level...There has been a lot of volatility in local markets also caused by this meltdown. Hmmmmmm, here we go again. the last time JP Morgan was buying up all the financially troubled banks it was the 1920's and the Great Depression was about to go into full swing mode for almost 30 years. Lousiana Lawmaker Faults Media For Focusing Attention On His Eugenics Proposal

Louisiana State Rep. John LaBruzzo (R) recently stirred controversy by advocating a form of eugenics to decrease the number of poor. “I realized that all these people were in Louisiana’s care and what a massive financial responsibility that is to the state,” he said. “I said, ‘I wonder if it might be a good idea to pay some of these people to get sterilized.’” His plan would also give tax incentives to the rich to encourage procreation.

Appearing on CNN today, LaBruzzo defended his proposal by arguing that “the taxpayers of America are kind of getting fed up” with supporting welfare programs. He cited the “totally reliant” residents who relied on government evacuations during Hurricane Katrina. When CNN’s Kyra Phillips asked why he couldn’t invest in education and poverty-reduction programs, LaBruzzo faulted the media for focusing too much attention on his eugenics program:

Every one of the ideas you brought up were talked about in the brainstorming session. Obviously the media thought this was the one they could get some ratings out of. We talked about getting involved in the community. … We talked about a lot of those issues. This is one that the media grabbed hold of because it gets ratings.

He also blamed the “tremendous influx of illegal aliens” for “bringing down the economy even more.” MORE!

John LaBruzzo to start thinking about ways to stem generational welfare, in which many welfare recipients have children who also end up dependent on government assistance, according to the representative.
His idea — giving $1,000 to poor women to undergo reproductive sterilization by Fallopian tube ligation — is stirring up controversy among some medical professionals, who say that the proposal is offensive and smacks of long-discredited eugenics programs.

LaBruzzo has also suggested other controversial ideas: paying poor men to get vasectomies and giving tax incentives for college-educated wealthy couples to have more children.

LaBruzzo doesn’t know why it would be considered eugenics if it’s voluntary or racist if most welfare recipients are white. I don’t know why this guy has a job representing the people of Louisiana.

This is what happens when we let stupid people get into political offices.

Alamo was charged under a federal statute with having knowingly transported a minor across state lines with the intent to engage in sexual activity, Johnson said.
Alamo, whose real name is Bernie Hoffman, was taken to Coconino County Jail in Flagstaff, where he is to have an initial appearance Friday in federal magistrate court, Johnson said.

I posted this great read from Naomi Wolfe the other day now I have a great vid in which Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur breaks down the whole financial crisis and then offers great solutions in a bill she is sponsoring to counter giving the BCS and neo-clowns almost a trillion dollar check with NO oversight. Uh, Huh...NO!

Seems like Marcy was talking to a specific group of folks when she kept calling the Fed's money "poison/toxic paper"...We need more like Marcy bringing this type of heat, light and scrutiny to the puppet leaders and ultimately the puppet master's!

You know We the People are being strong armed, getting locked into a government protection scheme...Wall Street Blue chippers are in effect telling us, "Look here give up the money or you know anything might happen, like say a depression...I'm not saying that it's gonna happen...but you know how unstable the market is right now...Now if your willing to deal then maybe we can stop that from happening..." Sure the debt is radically inflated and no where near the price they are charging for it, but of course no one wants a depression right?!

Please understand what you are looking at when you look at Sarah “Evita” Palin. You are looking at the designated muse of the coming American police state.

You have to understand how things work in a closing society in order to understand “Palin Power.” A gang or cabal seizes power, usually with an affable, weak figurehead at the fore. Then they will hold elections — but they will make sure that the election will be corrupted and that the next affable, weak figurehead is entirely in their control. Remember, Russia has Presidents; Russia holds elections. Dictators and gangs of thugs all over the world hold elections. It means nothing. When a cabal has seized power you can have elections and even presidents, but you have freedom.

I realized early on with horror what I was seeing in Governor Palin: the continuation of the Rove-Cheney cabal, but this time without restraints. I heard her echo Bush 2000 soundbites (”the heart of America is on display”) and realized Bush’s speechwriters were writing her — not McCain’s — speeches. I heard her tell George Bush’s lies — not McCain’s — to the American people, linking 9/11 to Iraq. I heard her make fun of Barack Obama for wanting to prevent the torture of prisoners — this is Rove-Cheney’s enthusiastic S and M, not McCain’s, who, though he shamefully colluded in the 2006 Military Tribunals Act, is also a former prisoner of war and wrote an eloquent Newsweek piece in 2005 opposing torture. I saw that she was even styled by the same skillful stylist (neutral lipstick, matte makeup, dark colors) who turned Katharine Harris from a mall rat into a stateswoman and who styles all the women in the Bush orbit –but who does not bother to style Cindy McCain.

Then I saw and heard more. Palin is embracing lawlessness in defying Alaskan Legislature subpoenas –this is what Rove-Cheney, and not McCain, believe in doing. She uses mafia tactics against critics, like the police commissioner who was railroaded for opposing handguns in Alaskan battered women’s shelters — Rove’s style, not McCain’s. I realized what I was seeing.

Reports confirmed my suspicions: Palin, not McCain, is the FrankenBarbie of the Rove-Cheney cabal. The strategy became clear. Time magazine reported that Rove is “dialed in” to the McCain campaign. Rove’s protégé Steve Schmidt is now campaign manager. And Politico reported that Rove was heavily involved in McCain’s vice presidential selection. Finally a new report shows that there are dozens of Bush and Rove operatives surrounding Sarah Palin and orchestrating her every move.

What’s the plan? It is this. McCain doesn’t matter. Reputable dermatologists are discussing the fact that in simply actuarial terms, John McCain has a virulent and life-threatening form of skin cancer. It is the elephant in the room, but we must discuss the health of the candidates: doctors put survival rates for someone his age at two to four years. I believe the Rove-Cheney cabal is using Sarah Palin as a stalking horse, an Evita figure, to put a popular, populist face on the coming police state and be the talk show hostess for the end of elections as we know them. If McCain-Palin get in, this will be the last true American election. She will be working for Halliburton, KBR, Rove and Cheney into the foreseeable future — for a decade perhaps — a puppet “president” for the same people who have plundered our treasure, are now holding the US economy hostage and who murdered four thousand brave young men and women in a way of choice and lies.

How, you may ask, can I assert this? How can I argue, as I now do, that there is actually a war being ramped up against US citizens and our democracy and that Sarah Palin is the figurehead and muse for that war?

Look at the RNC. This is supposed to be McCain’s America. But you see the unmistakable theatre of Rove’s S and M imagery — and you see stages eight, nine and ten of the steps to a dictatorship as I outlined them in The End of America. Preemptive arrest? Abusive arrest? “Newly released footage, which was buried to avoid confiscation, shows riot cops arresting and abusing a giant group of people for nothing.”

Journalists were arrested — for reporting. Amy Goodman and ABC producers were arrested. Jane Hamsher of Firedoglake and others were forced to lie face down as armed agents tied their hands behind their backs. The riot police wore the black S&M gear of the Rovian fantasy life and carried the four foot batons cops carry in North Korea. All this is not John McCain’s imagery or strategy: it is Karl Rove’s.

In McCain-Palin’s America, citizens who are protesting are being charged as terrorists. This means that a violent war had been declared on American citizens. A well known reporter leaked to me on background that St Paul police had dressed as protesters and, dressed in Black — shades of the Blackshirts of 1920 — infiltrated protest groups. There were also phalanxes of men in black wearing balaclavas, linking arms and behaving menacingly — alleged “anarchists.” Let me tell you, I have been on the left for thirty years and you can’t get three lefties to wear the same t-shirt to a rally, let alone link arms and wear identical face masks: these are not our guys. Agent Provocateurs framing protesters and calling protest “terrorism” constitutes step ten of a police state:

“In what appears to be the first use of criminal charges under the 2002 Minnesota version of the Federal Patriot Act, Ramsey County Prosecutors have formally charged 8 alleged leaders of the RNC Welcoming Committee with Conspiracy to Riot in Furtherance of Terrorism… [they] 7 1/2 years in prison under the terrorism enhancement charge which allows for a 50% increase in the maximum penalty.”

“Paid, confidential informants… infiltrated the RNCWC on behalf of law enforcement. They allege that members of the group sought to kidnap delegates to the RNC, assault police officers with firebombs and explosives, and sabotage airports in St. Paul. Evidence released to date does not corroborate these allegations with physical evidence or provide any other evidence for these allegations than the claims of the informants. Based on past abuses of such informants by law enforcement, the National Lawyers Guild is concerned that such police informants have incentives to lie and exaggerate threats of violence and to also act as provocateurs in raising and urging support for acts of violence.”

If she and McCain are elected, then every single strategy memo and speech and debate prep note from every opposition candidate from now and on into forever will be read by the regime in power while it is still in the computers of the challengers.

Try explaining that to a smart thirteen year old. Try explaining it in a way that still makes her feel secure and comfortable.

I am not telling you this because it’s about my life. I am telling you this because it is about your life — whoever you are, Conservative or Liberal, independent or evangelical. Your politics will not protect you in a police state. History shows that nothing portects you in a police state. This is not about my fear and anxiety: it is about what awaits you and everyone you love unless you see this for what it is:

So I dodged a bullet this morning...I stayed up all night as usual last night not realizing I had to go to court this morning. The last time I was summoned was a mere 4 months ago and I didn't even show up for that date. In all honesty I was hungover that morning, but this time I decided to stay up, go downtown and show up for my civic duty. So I put on my "GUILTY!" T-Shirt with the big letters and went to court today.

I was really dreading the whole sit and wait style of jury duty in Baltimore City, because I knew I had to write this Weekly (C)Wrap-Up!, so as to keep the masses informed about what is really going on in their world. They summons 1000 people a day in Baltimore City and then you are herded into this waiting area and you wait until your number is called. Well today I was expecting to be sitting for 8 hours, but the gods heard my plea's of deliverance from that place of "In-Just-Us" and when I got up to the counter to sign in, because I lost the summons slip, the guy at the counter looked at my ID then matched it to his computer print out and said, "You are free to go! We are only using the first 600 people and your number 603! Nice shirt!" I vaguely head that last part as I was halfway out the building after he said, "free to go!".

Or I guess they thought we would forget that he called that Indian kid a "macaca" which is a type of monkey. Maybe the GOP is just that delusional and is assuming that you are too. I mean the communication director for the state party had to say this, from Thinkprogress:

“George Allen has an excellent record on issues of diversity, reaching out to people,” Gerry Scimeca, communications director for the state party, told us. “His whole career, his whole life have been a testament to a guy who’s treated people equally across racial lines, across every kind of line.” […] MORE!

You see the look on the horse's face?! Even it can't believe Allen is speaking at this "Rally"! Allen being a featured speaker changes the whole meaning of the word rally!

Since I just happened to be up early this morning and the wife usually watches NBC (nothing but crooks) so against my better judgement I happened to catch the "Today Show" and they had Ari Fleischer on talking about the mortgage crisis and this whore had the nerve to say, "If people would not have tried to buy houses they couldn't afford then the us wouoldn't be in this predicament" or something to that effect. Of course I lost it this morning after hearing that. What a bunch of sleazy lying scumbags these GOP whores are! Then to top it off I went to Crooks & Liars and saw this:

Sorry, the irresponsible lending practices went on because it kept Bush’s economy chugging along for years before it crashed and burned. The ownership society Bush and conservatives called it. Morning Joe actually takes him apart for even suggesting that low income families are the root cause of our economic problems in the housing market. It’s up to the lenders to qualify people for loans. PERIOD.

I watched this crisis unfold and saw people walking into fairly expensive homes in Venice, CA with no down payments and either low or no interest loans. Yes, I’m a renter now. I couldn’t believe my eyes when the property values skyrocketed (went up to 1 million) because of these lending practices. People can apply for a loan all they want, but that does not automatically mean they should be approved. That’s up to the lenders. Liberal guilt is never an issue and a lie, Mr Kudlow. They aren’t supposed to hand over thousands of dollars without knowing that they will be paid back. The predatory lenders made boat loads of cash at will with a conservative philosophy in hand. Is the proposed merger of Constellation with Iowa-based MidAmerican Energy Holdings Group in the best interests of its owners, workers and BGE customers? Constellation executives say yes, but a great deal more will need to be known before the rest of us can accept that judgment.

The Maryland Public Service Commission is one of the various government agencies that will review this deal. We would urge state officials to hire qualified investment bankers and others with appropriate expertise to explore every aspect of the transaction with far greater care than was given the state's deregulatory efforts nine years ago. I have been watching the corporate news with some amazement here lately and it started on CNN and now it seems like a lot of other networks are picking up on it too, they are starting to call out McSimpson staffers and lackey's out on their bullshit and it is rather refreshing to say the least. Now I don't know how long this period of Glasnost is going to last and when I see the same things in Pravd...errr...I mean the WaPost I will really get excited but then again there is still Fux and the idiots who watch it. I have this dislike/hate type relationship with Chris Matthews who I refer to as Tweety! Just like when Tim Russert would take people to the videotape, when Tweety get's pissed and has heard enough bullshit he let's whoever is trying to bullshit him have it with both barrels. For example he had Rep. Cantor from Virginia on the show the other day and it was pure comedy...

Did you see the look on Matthew's face? He looked like he was about to go postal on Cantor. I saw a little Jack Nicholson from "The Shining" coming through. Next up on Tweety's hit list was self deluding lying McPain staffer Nancy Pfotenhauer! The name should tell you enough but wait until you hear the bullshit coming out of here mouth. If you haven't heard the news you are living in a bubble, a big financial bubble that is starting to drop like the Hindenburg. Adding to the ever growing list of banks failing we now have several big insurance providers failing also. First Lehman Brothers, now AIG and of course you remember Fannie and Freddie right? With several more waiting in the wings. Now thanks to Bank of America and of course some government interference (think fuckery) the tax payers do not have to eat the bulk of the Merrill Lynch "buyout", but you best believe we are going to share some of that financial responsibility also, Freddie and Fannie are going to costs us billions as is, now add to that Lehman Brothers and the impending collapse of AIG and these cost's are going to be in the trillions. Now I am no economic guru, but even I can see this shit just don't add up. These companies were supposed to be the brightest and best, the biggest and strongest with excess capital and on and on yet they are dropping like flies. The most obvious cause is the shrub administration's dimwitted economic policies in particular total Laissez-faire and lack of regulation on corporations a.k.a. the dark side of the free market system. We also have to fault rampant consumerism also, but this is not about us...well sort of!

This is definitely the free markets fault and all the defenders of said market. Like I said I am no expert on this economy stuff but in a free market aren't companies supposed to fend for themselves and be better than the next guy or be put out of business by the next guy?! What's different about this situation. It's not like all of the insurance companies are going broke, right? Those that are not going broke should buy up the other companies and in turn become bigger themselves right?! That is how the free market and capitalism for that matter is supposed to work right?!? Anything else is socialist and communist right? So why am I hearing about my government bailing out these corporations. We already have a corporate welfare state, more socialist programs befitting corporations than people, now massive corporate takeovers by government, whats next Perestroika? <--(Thinly veiled comparison of communism and the current government policies).

That brings me to my ultimate point and where we fit in being part the problem of the insanity is that we have tried these things before and they have failed miserably and the ultimate loser is us, yet here we go again with more insanity. We won't give money to programs for the poor, because it's socialism, yet we are ready and willing to give it to millionaires! We bitch and moan about food stamps and a couple hundred dollars a month in welfare for the poor, yet we give billions to the already filthy rich to bail out their companies that are squeezing us like lemons! WOW!

You know I really do not feel bad about those insurance companies, because insurance is the biggest racket since the IRS was created. You pay them and pay them and nothing happens as soon as something does happen they do not want to honor their part of the agreement. Now it is not a total scam but ask folks about flood insurance in NOLA or even closer to home in MD. There are still people in MD waiting for settlements from Isabel in 2003!

Since Obama had the whole Reverend Wright Trinity church thing that was repeated ad nausea and since people want to compare Obama to Palin which is also a real stretch, we need to talk about Palin's beliefs and her Churches and let me tell you it's scary stuff...From Talk To Action:

If Sarah Palin may hold apocalyptic end-time beliefs or believes that she has a divine mandate to initiate an end-time conflict, American voters have the right to know about the doctrines taught in Palin's Alaska churches. These churches are closely associated with a movement, called the Third Wave or New Apostolic Reformation, which holds views that are highly controversial, particularly among other conservative Christians who are most aware of this fast growing international phenomenon. The activities of the movement have been condemned as heresy by the General Council of the Assemblies of God, to which two of Palin's churches currently belong. Accusations even stronger than `heresy', decrying the "Third Wave" religious movement, have been launched from Fundamentalist and Evangelical Christian groups.

Our focus on Palin's churches does not "bash religion" and has been praised by conservative Christians for its academic rigor. We are examining the religious views promoted at Palin's churches because the Third Wave / New Apostolic Reformation movement rejects pluralism and its followers believe they have been anointed by God to lead a unified superchurch into the final age - both of which have public policy implications.

Sarah Palin has every right to hold whatever religious views she chooses but, by the same token, the American people have every right to know what Palin's religious beliefs are - especially to the extent that they may include the view that all other religious and philosophical views but her own are under the influence of demonic powers and that believing Christians must conquer the Earth and cleanse it of evil in this final generation.

Our primary focus is not with the hyper-charismatic manifestations, `outpourings', associated with the "Third Wave" movement in which those 'slain', 'washed' or 'soaking' in the spirit bark, howl and shriek, shake spasmodically, laugh or sob, crawl about on all fours, bang their heads on walls, and fall into stupors - all which the participants seem to enjoy. Neither is our main focus on problematic healing sessions, in which demons are expelled, that sometimes involve patients being kicked or head butted. Our focus is on beliefs behind these manifestations - such as the idea that these outpourings indicate that the participants are part of an "army of God" and comprise the final generation before the end times. Also problematic is that these healings and supernatural works are seen not as "divine intervention" by God but as the result of supernatural gifts imparted to those humans "anointed" to participant in ridding the world of evil.

From a standpoint of public policy it is significant that Third Wave doctrine teaches that their leaders are raising a generation of youth who will be imparted with supernatural powers and form a conquering Christian army. These youth, often referred to as Joel's Army and as the generation born after 1973, will purge the earth in preparation for Jesus' return. The movement features special gatherings of believers to use "spiritual warfare" to purge "territorial demons" and end "generational curses" in order to transform the cities of America and the world. Social reform thus takes place through the expulsion of demons.

Third Wave doctrine is an example of an extreme religious exceptionalism - not only are all other religious and philosophical belief systems on Earth seen as invalid and under satanic influence, but Third Wave theology sees all competing branches, sects and denominations of Christianity, particularly other conservative Christians who refuse to join "the river" of these outpourings, as an obstacle to God's divine will. Third Wave adherents believe that other Christian churches must drop their competing doctrines, which prevent them from joining this final end-time army, and group together under the new authority of the Apostles and Prophets of this final age. In other words, true believers will join together, in one triumphant end time church, to do battle against evil in the final generation. C. Peter Wagner, a central figure in the organization of the movement, believes that this second Apostolic age began in 2001 and that it is "heralding the most radical change in the way of doing church at least since the Protestant Reformation." He also claims that this international movement under the direction of his Apostles is the only large sector of Christianity growing faster worldwide than Islam. MORE!

So I get into this discussion over at my mans Multiply site right? I was giving the rethugs a good thrashing when a young lady complained about me ranting and how she couldn't have a discussion because I couldn't see ...wait let me get the exact quote...

"I can't have a discussion with someone who believes that one party is all bad, because it is simply not true. If you cannot see, nor can you accept, any of the positive things that Republicans have brought to this nation, then there is no reason in discussing anything with you."

Now the first thing that popped into my mind is the only thing that the rethugs have brought to this nation is crime, corruption, lies, deceit, wars for profit, mass murder, lies, scandals, huge deficits, poor economy, high unemployment, lies, the housing crisis, the credit crisis, Katrina, more lies, war with Iran, The Occupation of Iraqnam, 911, Duke Cunningham, Tom Delay, Bill Frist, Ted Stevens, Bob Ney, Vitter, Larry Craig, Mann Coulter-giest, The Patriot Act, the Neo-Clowns, Limbaugh, Bill Oh' Really, Cheney, Abramoff, Sarah Palin as McSimpson's running mate, while we are at it McSimpson himself and getting the nomination with his old broken, lying, bullshit express ass and I could go on for hours (see a more detailed listing here) but I think you get my point.

Now granted this also got me to seriously thinking about what have they done good?! And by good I mean for the country not themselves or their buddies...I keep drawing a complete blank...Can you tell me?! I posed the question to the young lady and I am still waiting for a response...

Oh yeah I forgot she can't "conversate" with me. I don't want to single her out because there are a lot of folks that think like this and have been brainwashed by the propaganda. they are in effect hypnotized and can't undo the programming. Now I didn't get angry but just a little disappointed, because so many of our young people are sooo confused and rightfully so but that is no excuse to stay that way, especially when there are people with lot's more expertise on the subject than someone that was born in the Regan era. The only thing they know is rethuglican rhetoric and they hold on tight to it. They think it is supposed to be a certain way despite all the evidence to the contrary. "Fact's be damned!" Kind of like Religious Cults...Remember...

Cults have the following characteristics:

1. Attachment to a teacher, book or belief system.
2. Regular displays of intolerance or arrogance towards others.
3. Humiliation of those who ask questions that could make the leader or the group feel insecure.
4. Feelings of superiority born from comparison with others.
5. An inability to support, endorse and appreciate the wisdom and compassion of others.
6. A wish to expand their religious empire.

Now I would break all them down and compare them to the GOP and the people that follow their madness, but gotta go and let you try to break it down yourselves. It's really not that hard at all! Unless you have been brainwashed by the BS (Belief Systems)!
